For the record, I would never knowingly use or share AI generated art in anything I post, so if you ever catch me doing so, it was an accident, and I'd like you to let me know so I can delete it.

This is a recent project. I originally did it in watercolor before redoing it in digital. This is one of my favorite pieces that I've done. I honestly struggle with backgrounds, so this was a step outside my comfort zone. But I think that was the right decision, and am really happy with my work. :)

some more Nico art! i just finished the tyrant's tomb and that means i'm almost done with all the main Percy Jackson series. i'm so exited for the sun and the star to come out and i gotta be ready! i'm a pretty quick reader but it's hard to make myself sit down and read so it's taken me a minute to get this far. (audio books have been my saving grace lol) i just felt like doodling and drawing Nico again. i took a break from fanart because i didn't have any inspiration, but i'm getting back into it i think. If anyone has any requests i'd be happy to draw them though it might make me a bit.

Like same. I’m just trying to enjoy cool are then those icky AI “artists” show up and I’m usually none the wiser without tags. People need to tag their stuff. >:(

I'm starting to see AI art in fanart tags and even when they are tagged as AI art, people in the reblogs tagged it as fanart.

Let me just say this once. I don't believe AI art is fanart. The way things are, it's theft. It doesn't count. The effort that fan artists put into their works cannot be equated in value with whatever an AI generates. The works with hours of applied skill and originality and love put into them are the works I want to praise on this blog.

So that being said, if I ever reblog "fanart" that is ai generated, please send me a message or an ask and let me know so I can delete it off my blog.

I finished the Sun and the Star, and I really enjoyed it.

I was kinda nervous because I saw a lot of negative reviews, even before the book officially came out, but I really really enjoyed myself reading it, and would read it again.
