Unpopular Opinion: I Hate That They Are Rewriting League Jayce And League Viktor, And Replacing Them

I think Silco and Vander are probably the most accurate adaptation of the League of Legends versions of Jayce and Viktor.

Zaundads and Jayvik both came together over an initial idea, one side started disapproving the other’s extreme ways (Vander towards Silco, LoL!Jayce towards LoL!Viktor) which leads to a massive fight, the two being separated for a long time until Silco and LoL!Viktor come back full villain mode.

(I don’t know much about the game’s lore but I’m going to share my opinion anyway 😅)

i think my favorite "raditz-gets-brought-back-somehow" au is the idea that he accidentally gets brought back when goten is a kid and while everyone else is understandably wary given the last time he was around (even if they're no longer afraid of him because EVERYONE is a million times stronger than him) goten latches onto him like a goddamn leech. constantly hanging from his hair and poking at him and following him around and whatnot. calls him "mr. radish" that eventually changes to "uncle radish" when someone finally tells him his relation to goku. raditz is NOT happy about this at ALL but he really can't do anything because goten is a fucking super saiyan and could annihilate raditz with his pinky finger. so he just has to deal with it. and eventually things sort of smooth out and raditz becomes goten's weird gruff uncle that just kind of sits there while goten crawls all over him and gets all bristly when someone accuses him of caring about another person. and i say he's goten's uncle specifically because i think if he and gohan come within 50 feet of each other gohan goes mystic and stands there radiating the world's most tangible rage until raditz fucking skedaddles. gohan's gentle heart vs. the fact that raditz was quite literally the domino that triggered the absolute horror that was his childhood FIGHT

I kinda feel like writing a funny one shot of post S2 Viktor stuck in league verse (Yes this is inspired by League Viktor getting got by the Arcane rewrite gun rest in piece you will be missed). Poor guy would be so discombobulated by everything.

I think it'd be funny. Bonus point if he swapped places with League Viktor who's just sipping sweetmilk and taking a vacay while Arcane Jayce frantically tries to get League Viktor back to his world and get his Viktor back.

I also think it'd be funny if when Viktor got back the thing he couldn't let go of as like the absolute worst part of the League timeline was Giopara. Like he just grabs Jayce by the shoulders like:

"Jayce listen to me I just went to the worst timeline ever. Everyone was fucked up, Piltover and Zaun were in a full blown war. Worst of all? You were an insufferable narcissistic asshole and also White."

Thinking of some art and fics I’ve seen where Jayce Giopara somehow got sent into the Arcane dimension and either badly hurt or kills Arcane!Viktor. Thinking of Jayce Talis coming just too late, having to watch, helpless, as a version of himself kills the man he would sacrifice anything to save.

Considering their divorce era, I think Talis would crash out harder than anyone’s ever crashed out before. Not Jinx, not Caitlyn, maybe Viktor in his Act 3 post-cult era. Maybe. Frankly I think this man would make the first interdimensional nuclear bomb. He’d become the Machine Herald of his own universe and then cross dimensions just to start the cycle over.
