Thinking of some art and fics I’ve seen where Jayce Giopara somehow got sent into the Arcane dimension and either badly hurt or kills Arcane!Viktor. Thinking of Jayce Talis coming just too late, having to watch, helpless, as a version of himself kills the man he would sacrifice anything to save.

Considering their divorce era, I think Talis would crash out harder than anyone’s ever crashed out before. Not Jinx, not Caitlyn, maybe Viktor in his Act 3 post-cult era. Maybe. Frankly I think this man would make the first interdimensional nuclear bomb. He’d become the Machine Herald of his own universe and then cross dimensions just to start the cycle over.

Hi! I discovered jayce with arcane, and i saw some people (mostly lol artists) call him giopara and not talis, but on his lol page it's talis, and i wondered why?

Riot has retconned jayce's blurb some weeks ago. that is a sloppy addition to acknowledge how arcane is now the "main canon", but it makes no sense with his game bio.

In League lore, Jayce is one of piltzaun champs with virtually nonexistent family ties. What we do know about his origins is that he began working for clan Giopara at a very young age, being the ‘youngest apprenta they (ever employed)’ ; this translated into the fan habit of having him use or adopt their surname for a myriad of reasons — and with the release of Arcane, it became a popular marker to separate Game Jayce from TV Jayce (of house Talis).

In Legends of Runeterra, Jayce is shown to be under the employment of Clan Ferros, who beat Clan Giopara in a bidding war over his service. While Jayce’s involvement with the Gioparas seems to have ended after college, the usefulness of “Jayce Giopara” remains.

The plot is left as an exercise for the reader 😌 (The way I conceive this is as I normally do for Gohan and Cell shit: there is a Big Bad Evil that everyone is struggling with, and for Plot Reasons Cell was either brought back to help or brought back by accident due to Big Bad Evil. The enemy of my enemy is my friend, so they're forced to work together to defeat the Big Bad Evil!)

EDIT: A note: when Gohan asks Cell to take him to his dad via instant transmission, I imagined all manner of quips for Cell ("use your brain, if I could do it I would have done it", "I'm not gonna do it for YOU, except I can't do it anyways", etc.) but I think Cell can be cooperative when he's not riled up, so I kept it simple.
