I love how especially on TikTok rn, people are not letting it slide when editors use the real people behind the ghoul masks for clips. Like I saw one and I was pissed because it was Phantom and I didn’t even realize it until they added clips of the ghoul in the end of the edit. I looked in the comments and everyone was pissed at the editor for not respecting boundaries and you know what, I was super proud.

The two scenes that inspired the rest of the trilogy in mine:

Golden eyes. A gracious heart. Beautiful blood. Blood. Blood. The sharp taste of blood in my mouth, my nose. I could feel the sticky blood on my hands. Slowly, agonizingly, I began to remember fragments of what I’d lost. Pain. Someone had a knife. Was it me? Blood. Fear.

Pain.

The worst pain I’d ever felt concentrated right in between my ribs. I resisted the urge to scream out, and somehow through the thick haze of agony and confusion, I could start to hear voices.

And

It was all a lie. A beautifully created lie, one that only could have been weaved by Athena or Arachne. And I’d believed every second of it. Of course I had, he had played into every single one of my insecurities, building me up before subtly, ruthlessly, tearing me back down again. After all, they say the higher you climb the harder you fall.

I feel like every writer has created whole stories before around just that one specific scene that they thought of and really wanted to write. Sometimes I wonder what those scenes were for my favourite stories.

I love this character I want to wrap him up in bubble wrap and watch the life leave his eyes as I suffocate him

This is also really important!! Even if you know their identities and you want to draw them, draw THEM not the ghouls! The unmasked ghouls art should look like unmasked ghouls, not like the musicians.

They need to get one of them marching band drum sets and strap it to Mountain so he can run around on stage with the rest of the ghouls. I think it’s time he was freed.

Aether leaving literally broke my heart but I know it’ll mean good things for Chris, so I’m happy for him. But just realizing that there’s going to be no one to spin Copia around like a pretty princess during Dance Macabre makes me cry every time I think about it.

THIS THIS THIS!!! This is so important! He has his own reasons and they are perfectly valid and if he doesn’t want to share he doesn’t have to! And the new ghouls are amazing and so talented and they’re doing their best.

Ok I know were all upset about Aether, I’m devastated.

But you guys need to stop bombarding Chris with questions, he’s probably upset about not being apart of the band anymore too.

Also stop making assumptions to why he isn’t in the band anymore, if he wanted to tell us HE’D FUCKING TELL US. Stop pushing for some long explanation that might not even be there. There might not be a “story” sometimes things just happen.

Last thing Aether isn’t gone. His character can still live through the fandom, regardless of if he exist on the stage or not, his character and attachment to him everyone has build doesn’t have to disappear. We can continue to develop and make story’s and art for Aether that doesn’t have to stop.

(Ps. Don’t bully or make fun of the new ghouls. They did absolutely nothing wrong.)

Dew doesn’t have the brain cells to understand but he’s trying his best
