now to say sunghoon always looked good was an understatement. it was jus the truth. he did always jus look flawless. the way his pale skin is so clear, and his light freckles on his face made him ever so more beautiful.

you laughed as you looked through the mirror and caught the sight of sunghoon with a hairband on, ready to wash his face and brush his teeth. he looked at you and smiled before getting back to work.

even right now, he looked so beautiful. you sneakily pulled out your phone, and took some pictures of him. i mean, how could you not? he was jus so beautiful that you couldn’t help it.

unfortunately due to you losing focus and only thinking about sunghoon, he noticed you with you phone and took it from your hands. “hoon!” you said as you let out a gasp at the phone leaving your hand. “what are you doing” he said teasingly as he scrolled through the pictures you took.

“hoon give my phone back” you said as you crossed your arms. “no” he said while sticking his tongue out teasingly at you. you were left with no choice but to climb on his back. “yn what?” he said as he felt something on his back. “give me my phone” you said as you tried to reach for it but couldn’t because he moved his arms even more out.

walking around the school with jay was a absolute nightmare. every where you go, were there people either jealous of you, or asking if you two were dating. and as usual you both denied it.

today on the otherhand, was wayyy worse than any other day. you walked into the school building wearing one of jays jerseys, specifically the one with his name on it. when people saw it they gasped. you two we’re definitely together right? wrong! you two will be always and forever friends (according to you.)

you sat at the lunch table with the rest of your friends when suddenly jay sat beside you. “oh hey” you said as you smiled at him and turned your attention back to your friend. jay smiled at your side profile before continuing to eat his food peacefully.

he loved sitting with you, only because when he was with you, he felt calm and safe. as if nobody could hurt him. you were his comfort. and even if he couldn’t confess that to you, he’d rather have this than nothing.

cuddling against your boyfriend’s chest in the middle of the living room trying to get comfortable on the leather couch, you watched him scroll through his phone giggling.

curious, you peeked a little and notice the weverse screen that you were familiar with. “would this be a cute reply?”, jake flashed you his bright screen which made you squint a little as you read ‘jakey loves you too’ on the comment box that hasn’t been sent out yet.

“why don’t you ever reply to mine,” you ask sulkingly but also meaning every word you had said because he’s about to begin a mention party on weverse right now while you were both supposedly going to sleep.

jake ignored you and began the chaos that was about to blow his notifications up which made you start a mini tantrum going “aaaahhhhhh”, “whyyy”, and the occasional “jakeyyy” while lightly hitting on his chest to get his attention with him only giggling a little as a response but keeping his straight face a second later.

wanting an answer, you pulled out your own phone to enter the weverse app and joined the engenes in hopes to get the attention of your boyfriend on the internet too.

commenting all sorts of compliments, questions, stories you could ever think of at the moment which could beat the simple 'i love you jake’ from an engene which started this entire thing.

“see, look this is my username”, copying his movement earlier as you shoved your phone directly towards his face. “plus you’ve always known it- its the one that says ’jakeyismypuppy1115’.. i need a reply please please plea- don’t make me snatch your phone right now to do it”, whining even further as you shake his body which was almost falling off the couch if he wasn’t supporting himself.

it was your profile with the recent post dated a few days ago, apart from this moment’s fiasco of you trying to get jake’s attention online, the post made you cringe a little after realising what it said.

“heeseung-ah, i love you the most ! i hope you eat well, rest well, and is always happy ! i love u sooo much ure my favorite. i’ll always choose you ❤️”

he scrolled down a little more to show that heeseung, who is rarely online, had replied too. “heeseungie loves you too ☺️”.

it took you awhile to process it a little, and it finally hit you that you made the post after watching a youtube compilation of your boyfriend’s co-member which made you all happy inside as a fan and nothing more.

you didn’t expect heeseung to reply to your post either. you were joyful that he did and bragged it on twitter, but it didn’t stuck into your mind forever since you technically forgot it happened. jake’s reply would matter to you more.

on heeseung’s side however, he and all of the other boys knew of your weverse account from how jake would always reply to yours which raised some suspicion and later confirmed when jungwon saw the app left open on your phone with the profile flashing your username.

heeseung found the comment to be sweet and endearing, he loves you like the closest friend who has always been there for his bestfriend and the team even before debut.

your reminiscing thoughts were then killed by jake pouting at you with the post still up in your face.

“jakey.. i didn’t mean tha- wait i did, i think heeseung deserves all the good things in life but i love you the most more than him,” trying to comfort him, not caring about the app hybe created now.

he knew that you only meant well and was happy to know that you were a good person that likes his group as a whole.

jake, still determined with his plan in making you love him more than heeseung, even though you already do, continued sulking and crossing his arms away from you, staring into the silent tv.

you hugged him as tight as the koalas he had seen back in australia and a bunch of apologies + i love yous came running out your cute lips profusely.

your boyfriend wasn’t budging at all which made you even more frustrated, you knew he was just being playful though from the countless of times he tried not to laugh.

giving up, you sat on the couch as he was still laying and proceeded to go over his body and walk to the kitchen in hopes to find heeseung somewhere eating ramen to prove jake that you were both just a couple of besties.

it was hard to reach the mugs knowing that riki purposely made it higher for laughs and gags. a little more and you’d be able to grab the spider-man mug that belonged to your baby jakey.

like any cliché, a hand made way to your waist as you felt your boyfriend’s body lightly pressed against your back reaching for the cup that you were both eyeing for.

placing the blue spider-man mug in front of you with his right hand on your side fulling back hugging you now as he whispered, “i love you” with his soft lips touching the shell of your ear making you turn your head around from the tickling feeling.

with your body finally facing him, you cupped his cheeks and stared into his sparkly eyes. your thumbs grazing his soft skin and fingers moving his unkept fringe a little from the nap you both had in the afternoon, admiring all of his features before giving him a kiss.

not knowing that your phone was blowing up in the living room from the weverse notifications you were getting.

he was leaning over the wall of the tub, head down as he let the droplets fall inside.

once acquired, you placed the towel over his head, and you both stood up as you began to dry his hair.

he faced you and rested his head on your shoulder, followed by his arms tiredly wrapping around your waist.

it was the end of the day, and jungwon was exhausted from all of his busy tasks from work, this was just what he needed to relax.

“wonie,” you breathed out a chuckle as you pushed his head gently off your shoulder and in front of your face where you could see his eyes properly, “i can’t dry your hair when you’re resting on me like this. stay standing straight, okay?”

a frown formed on his lips, and he shook his head as he let out in the softest, most precious voice, “i don’t want to.”

at the sound and sight of an exhausted jungwon, your shoulders fell, only now realizing that they were slightly tensed up this entire time. a small smile then made its way to your lips as an idea popped into your head. you held the side of his face with one hand, leaning in and began placing kisses over every inch of his face, beginning with his nose, up to his forehead, circling down to his chin and lips, and all the way back to the other side of his face.

he closed his eyes and you felt a smile creep up to his lips and dimples forming in his soft cheeks.

“good?” you asked, and he opened his eyes and let out a giggle.

“i like this,” he said.

“okay, now just stay like this, and let me dry your hair before we continue—“ you paused before moving your finger between him and yourself “—this.”

he chuckled and nodded at your little offer, allowing you to dry his hair properly this time. and so you did just that, then before you knew it, he stopped you, saying his hair was dry enough, and eagerly, he wasted no time in continuing where you two left off.

jungwon with his natural and messy hair, as he jus woke up and you, with yours too. not a care in the world besides you two together in that moment.

jungwon layed between your legs and played on his console some games, meanwhile you were reading your book: it ends with us.

you gasped loudly as you read the next page. jungwon looked up from where he was lying and made his way next to you to see what you were reading. “what is it?” he asked curiously as he peeked at the page. “he jus- pushed her.” you said as you covered your mouth with your hand.

jungwon looked at you confused as he didnt know what was going on in the book. you sighed and put down the book. you started explaining to him all the events that happened in the story all the way to where you were now. jungwon gasped in shock too. “so he pushed her? jus like that?” jungwon asked flabbergasted. you nodded.

“let’s continue reading” jungwon said fully interested in the book too. you stifled a laugh as he switched off his console and made his way back onto the bed. he sat up behind you, against the headboard and pulled you in-between his legs so that your chest was against his. jungwon then rested his head on your shoulder so that he could read properly.

chan fell in love the moment you smiled at him. it’s like a treasure that he would always want to keep and a sight that he would always want to see. he would do everything to see that pretty smile on your face. the way your teeth peek in between your lips or even if it’s a simple smile, his heart can’t rest. one smile from you will brighten up his day for sure. by doing small things such as tucking your hair behind your ears or wiping your lips from the excess food, a smile would creep on them which makes him giggle in return. a compliment will urge you to show that sweet gesture, anything that chan has in mind just to make you smile. 

“you know what,” he said. “what?” you asked, taking a napkin from the small box. “you shine when you smile,” he said, making you flustered in return.

you passed the driving test and got your driver’s license recently. thanks to minho who managed to keep his patience from teaching you how to drive, it all ended up worth it. he was happy when you were screaming in excitement the moment you entered your shared apartment—and as for rewarding you, he decided to let you drive his car. it was very unusual of him but you promised you’ll do a good job. he finds it hot even when you were still practicing, the thought of you raising the speed and running past through some cars on the road, or even playing with the wheel and setting the roof back on its trunk when you use his convertible. only a smirk would plaster his face seeing how well he did to train you. your boyfriend could only relax on the passenger’s seat.

your boyfriend gives corny jokes sometimes and you know that. maybe they are not funny all the time but they manage to end up being witty. it wasn’t only about his jokes but how he reacts after, his laugh is contagious which causes you to laugh with him in the end. they were good enough to have you cackle while smacking a pillow resting on your laugh. jisung would take that opportunity to hear you laugh and watch you as if you are the most beautiful person on earth. you wouldn’t understand how his heart raced every time even if you would deny how you hate your laugh sometimes. but to him, it is one of the reasons why he loves you. 

𝗙𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗫 — when you play with his dog 

felix would always tag his golden retriever friend when he has the opportunity to do so. whether he makes it stay in their dorm or in their dressing room, it was always you who take care of it when he’s not available. the pooch was friendly enough to tackle you on the ground, lick your cheeks when he gets happy, or even play fetch, the little guy became fond of you. every time felix comes back from the schedule, he would always find you cuddling with the dog. sometimes urging the baby talks and complimenting it had his heart melt in awe. he knew he chose the right person, and felix couldn’t help but to fall for you even harder. 

𝗦𝗘𝗨𝗡𝗚𝗠𝗜𝗡 — when you sit on his lap

seungmin isn’t the type to engage skinship all the time but he had this thing with you. every time he takes a sit on the couch or on your shared bed, he’d call you up to sit on his lap, facing him. sometimes it happens randomly that he doesn’t need to tell you anymore. it all started when he came home late one night and was so exhausted from practice that you had to check if he was alright. his head fell rested on the backrest of your shared couch while staring at the ceiling, his body wanted cuddles at least and that’s why you came up sitting on his lap to hug him. he flinched the first time you did it but all he did was to blush and hugged you back, burying his face on your shoulder, leaving a kiss on it. your boyfriend couldn’t help but smile, plus you were also wearing one of his shirts. 

𝗝𝗘𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗜𝗡 — when you wear his clothes 

you were on a movie night in their dorm when it started to rain hard. the news said there was a storm coming up so he called your mother to let you stay for the night. it was unexpected as the movie ended one hour later after the harsh rainfall. he decided to lend you his clothes to wear after washing up yet he ended up gapping his mouth the moment you walked out of the bathroom. minho even teased him while he was flustered, his cheeks turned pink as he looked at you wearing his clothes. the oversized shirt and his shorts fit perfectly. he wanted to pass out on how good you look with them—also you were already attractive in the first place. jeongin got dramatic as a response that he had to hide his face as you laugh at him.

the seats were limited

and just your luck, there were only 7 seats

the guys offered you their seats but deemed that unnecessary

when they saw heeseung pull you down into his lap

his hands wrapped around your waist and he kept you sat on his lap telling you that "if there's no seat for you, my lap is always open."

he would just be sitting on the couch, literally relaxing

and the moment you walked past him he just pulling you into his lap

he kissed you and held you

this mf would literally not let go of you

he would tell you to stay like that just for a few minutes

he even gave you a back massage while you sat on his lap

it's like second nature to him, he wasn't even flustered about the fact that you were in his lap

you on the other hand, well that's up to you to decide how you responded to his randomness

you were playing around with the maknae since he wanted to be a menace

and you ended up in jake's lap

jake probably caught you and put his hands on your waist asking if you're okay

then he realized you were in his lap and he was like wtf

he didn't even move you

and he gave niki a death stare

but he couldn't lie

he did enjoy having you in his lap >.>

he had no choice

there were no chairs and the members kept telling him

to let you sit in his lap

he gave in and pat his lap

the moment you sat in it he wanted to push you off because he was flustered

instead his wrapped his arms around you and pressed against your back with his head to hide his embarrassment

he doesn't really like you sitting in his lap

in front of other people

but if you guys are alone he loves when you sit in his lap and you guys are just like

but actually truth be told you two were in a car together riding in the back

you wanted to sit together

but since there were sooo many of you guys there was one less seat

and this is so not safe (btw guys pls take more than one car instead of risking it !!)

but he sat you on his lap and held onto you for dear life

i wish the first time you sat on him would be sweet but it wasn’t

he wanted to make sure you wouldn’t go flying

every time heeseung pressed on the breaks too hard

so what had happened wassssss

you fell into his lap while he was sitting in a beanbag you guys were playing games

but you got pushed a little too hard into jungwon’s lap

he was very very very surprised to say the least

but he wasn’t bothered instead he fixed his posture and adjusted you so the two of you were comfy

he asked if you were okay since the fall wasn’t so soft

considering you landed on another human

he gave you a little kiss and went back to playing his game with hee

this menace thought that it would all be fun and games

until you landed in his lap by accident he was holding your stuff above your head

doing all kinds of turns, spins, and twists causing the both of you to fall down

except you didn’t land on the ground you landed in riki’s lap

he ended up throwing himself back hysterically laughing and didn’t really realize you were in his lap

until you got up with pure panic

since you didn’t know if he was comfortable with you being in his lap

he didn’t want to admit it but he did enjoy you on his lap and if you had stayed on a little longer

he would’ve pulled you down with him for cuddles :(

[ 3:23 PM ] — with your head on jay's shoulder as you read your book, his arm around your waist as you two lay on the hammock, jay's other arm serves as an extra pillow under his head as he looks around. he softly sighs, contented here right now with you. he knows you two would have to go back soon, but he can't help but wish to stay here with you forever.

jay shifts on his position, putting another arm over your stomach as he rests his cheek on top of your head. "you bored, honey?" you softly ask, looking up at him through your lashes as your one hand brush up and down against his arm.

"no," jay says, brushing his finger against the sticky note flags that were pasted on the pages of your book. he really wasn't, in fact, he never felt more at peace. "have you read this before?"

jay knew of your habit to highlight some lines and put sticky note flags on them. you would even jot down notes when you have some thoughts. "yeah," you softly answer. "i've read this more than twice." you softly laugh and jay smiles.

he softly holds the book for you, reading as well. when he reaches the last word of the page, he would ask you if you're done. you couldn't help, but softly giggle at how cheesy and lowkey cringey you two are.

but you wouldn't trade this for anything in the world.

when jay flips a page, he can't help but look at the highlighted line right away. she didn't look nice. she looked like art, and art wasn't supposed to look nice; it was supposed to make you feel something. jongseong (although, he looked nice too). jay lightly smiles, his pointer finger lightly tracing the highlighted words.

you softly laugh, "i kind of highlight the lines that remind me of you."

"yeah?" jay says and you grab your bookmark, putting it on the page as you close the book and put it on the table beside the hammock. you turn around, hugging him by the waist and he places a kiss on your forehead. "i don't look nice, huh?" he teases.

"hey," you softly laugh. "i said that you look nice, too."

"you don't want to read anymore?" jay asks and you shake your head.

"you just want to see if i have more highlighted lines for you." you say and jay laughs.

"a little, yeah." he says and you smile, kissing his lips. "i kinda want to stay here forever with you, love." he mumbles against your lips as you lightly pull away.

"but just until sunday." you say with a light pout and jay softly laughs, nodding. "what do you say we come back next year?"

"i would love that." he smiles. that smile that does stupid things to you, yet you still love it so much.

"jongseong," you softly say. god, you love his name so much. and he loved it everytime you say it. "you make my reality so much better than fiction." you softly say, brushing his hair off his forehead.

"i love you."

"i love you, too."
