In the gallery of memories, shadows of you reside,

A canvas painted with moments, emotions we could never hide

Time tears apart the cloth that was once our relationship, threads of letting go,

Unraveling illusions, releasing what used to glow

Your image, once framed in the corridors of my mind,

Fades like a sunset, leaving any nostalgia behind

Every stroke of acceptance, gives me a brush of grace,

I release the past, in my heart's sacred space

The portrait of us, a masterpiece in its own right,

Now gives off warmth and light at night
