After A Year Filled With “NO,” Where Hate And Anxiety Were Waiting Just Around Every Corner at The

After a year filled with “NO,” where hate and anxiety were waiting just around every corner at the next newsstand, I want 2018 to be a year about positive accomplishments. That’s why I say YES.

YES to equality

YES to social justice

YES to environmental protection

YES to LGBTQ rights

YES to body positivity

YES to the freedom of self-expression

YES to education

YES to healthy food choices

YES to buying produce from small farms

YES to making this world a better place to live for everyone

A little bit of positivity goes a long way. Spread the love!

The Lovely Stones-- A Crystal Correspondence List

Quartz– Your first stone and your best friend. Whisper your secrets and it will start to whisper back. Take it traveling.

Amethyst– A dream healer. Cleanse regularly, it works hard.

Tiger’s Eye– Your talisman, your lantern flame. Its spirit is the safety you feel near the hearth.

Fluorite– Your third eye is dying to show you everything, and this is your key.

Rose Quartz– Gentle sunshine through white curtains. If you do not follow a goddess of love then this is the closest thing.

Citrine– Luck-fire. Tend to the flames lest you get too cocky.

Obsidian– A reliable friend. Give it your shame, your grief, your rage, and it will grow roses.

Selenite– It carries the spell of the first snow. Cast it where you need and let it sing.

Moonstone– You will see the night’s blessings and curses. It will encourage you to wander.

Sunstone– A personal warrior for rainy days. Use to truly speak and be truly heard.

“I think it’s very healthy to spend time alone. You need to know how to be alone and not be defined by another person.”

Nothing haunts me like you do. You are the ghost of everything I will never have, of the memories I can never relive, of who you will never love. You are the ghost of my life.

Honesty and truthfulness are not the same thing. Being honest means not telling lies. Being truthful means actively making known the full truth of a matter.
