They're a Grolar Bear (Polar x Grizzly hybrid, real thing btw, look it up) named Ballad and a Spotted Hyena named Chorou (pronounced /koro/)

evil etymologists be like:

helicopter comes from the greek words ήλιος (hēlios) and κόπτω (copto), meaning "sun" and "cut" respectively.

this is because the blades of the helicopter chop sunlight.

this is why it's also called a chopper.
