Definitely needed to read this today...
“After a while you learn the subtle difference Between holding a hand and chaining a soul, And you learn that love doesn’t mean leaning And company doesn’t mean security. And you begin to learn that kisses aren’t contracts And presents aren’t promises, And you begin to accept your defeats With your head up and your eyes open With the grace of a woman, not the grief of a child, And you learn to build all your roads on today Because tomorrow’s ground is too uncertain for plans And futures have a way of falling down in mid-flight. After a while you learn… That even sunshine burns if you get too much. So you plant your garden and decorate your own soul, Instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers. And you learn that you really can endure… That you really are strong And you really do have worth… And you learn and learn… With every good-bye you learn.”
— Jorge Luis Borges, You Learn
Goals of 2017: Make a good new normal.
Create a new, everyday normal that is filled both people and things that you enjoy. Get people you like being around, start doing things that you enjoy doing! And make THAT a part of your everyday life!
But you need to remove negative influences from your life and remove things that upset you. (PLEASE NOTE: This one needs to be taken with a grain of salt though.) Because obviously there are going to be plenty of things that will upset you but not all of them can be removed from your life. Maybe in some cases, the things that upset you can actually help you grow.
“I need to stop imagining situations in my head that aren’t going to happen.”

Eeyup.... and it worked so well!
Okay so to recap Mercy and Junkrat’s concepts are basically just
and
Sometimes one or 2 is enough
Opinion is really the lowest form of human knowledge. It requires no accountability, no understanding. The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another’s world. It requires profound purpose larger than the self kind of understanding.
Plato, The Republic (via theliteraryjournals)
Maybe I should really try this out and it may point me in a better direction than what I've been walking towards...
“Pay attention to the things you are naturally drawn to. They are often connected to your path, passion, and purpose in life. Have the courage to follow them.”
— Ruben Chavez
We're being robbed of new ideas as we're being kept in this age of nostalgia for a cash grab... Sometimes I wonder if our parents had to deal with this. Seeing a show they loved as kids being remade into something similar or different for the next generation. Did it make them happy? Make them sad? Did they buy into the idea that the past isn't truly dead but only zombified for money and ratings? Sorry, quick rant.

It might be that you've unknowingly changed to a different color along with the surrounding scenery."
Captain Rebecca from MINDHACK the Video Game
It’s ironic, isn’t it? Distancing yourself from the one who came closest to your soul.
I can get behind this.... cute!
This is just a question, not a request at all, but do you have an idea of what Emma and Luke will look like when they are older?
I’ve been asked this a lot so here they are…
Luke is a precious pure child, his guildmark isn’t shown here but is on his back, he’s only this shy with Emma but is usually very cool. Emma is always touching him in some way so they’re often seen holding hands. She looks like a rebellious kid but is very strict and doesn’t like breaking the rules. She also loves reading like her mother.
