I’m not the first one to say this but I’ll say it anyway. I don’t want eddie to realize he’s gay. I want him to ACCEPT that he is.

Because while buck did need to have that realisation about himself, because he’s too oblivious about his own feelings to have realized it sooner, I believe eddie should already know this about his sexuality. He just refused to accept it and has been repressing that shit for years.

I want to see eddie finally accept that he’s allowed to be himself and accept his homosexuality. I want him to finally embrace it.

I don’t need another arc of "Oh! I might not be as straight as I thought I was! How nice! This actually explains so much"

I need a "I finally understand I’m allowed to be happy with just being myself and I’m going embrace that part of me instead of forcing myself in a role that doesn’t work for me" moment for him. Because I geniuenly believe it’d work much better with his character.

It would also show a different kind of experience when coming to terms with one’s sexuality, especially for a character in their 30s. Which is nice.

Could also end up with a nice moment between eddie and chris. About how it’s important to live true to yourself, now matter what others think. I feel like it’s the type of things they would talk about, especially after everything that happened with eddie’s parents.

Point is, let eddie already be aware of his homosexuality and let his self discovery journey be about accepting that part of himself after repressing it for so long instead of another realisation about its existence.

So, a while ago, I used to date this guy. But then, about a year later I came out as trans (ftm) and started my transition (we had already broke up).

One day he just went like "Wait, does that mean I dated a guy? Am I gay??" And I just laughed so fucking hard

The ‘Chosen One’

So in movies or books, why is the chosen one always that person who has no idea what’s going on and is confused for the whole story?

And why is there ALWAYS that one person who’s like "Yeah, you’re a loser, I would have been a better chosen one than you, at least I know what I’m doing". And let’s be real, somehow, that person almost always ends up as the love interest.

Like why? Give me a ‘chosen one’ with a brain. Give me side characters who actually help the mc understand what’s their job instead of being jealous dicks-

I’m at that point in life where I just don’t care and I shamelessly traumatize my friends by telling them about the fics I read about, destroying their image of me instantly.

The horror on their face is gold tho, so it’s all worth it.

I have to say, I don’t think I ever came across a fandom that depicts nudity as beautifully and with as much humility as I’ve seen the arcane fandom do it.

And I don’t mean nudity as in nsfw fanarts and other sexualised fanarts like that. I mean nudity as in fanarts of characters being naked in such a natural way. Kinda reminds me of nude statues or a muse or something.

I just think it’s beautiful to see it being depicted that way and not always seeing nudity being sexualised, because nudity doesn’t alway = sex. It’s a nice change of pace tbh

Can we all just end the "What’s Yamato’s gender/pronouns in One Piece?" debate already?

Yes, Yamato is afab, but he still considers himself a man. I don’t care what the vivre card says, Yamato canonically uses masc pronouns in both the manga and the anime. Kaido calls him his son. Hell, Yamato even went to the MEN’s bathroom!

So please let’s just end it there. In canon, Yamato used masc pronouns and considers himself a male, so let’s just do that. It’s not that hard. I never understood why this debate was even a thing to begin with tbh
