This is the kinda shit I wanna see Ungoliant do
Update on the Twin Peaks obsession : the Diane sketch morphed into a future full piece. Also I started another painting because I have the attention span of a goldfish and typewriters are HARD to draw.
Gordon Cole with the evanescent Phillip Jeffries from a happier (? ) time before the Twin Peaks debacle. I don't like the boring beige color of Jeffries coat but I can't decide on a fun, stylish one that won't look out of place. Any ideas are welcome.
So I've been binge watching twin peaks and I can't believe I waited so long. It has everything. Beautiful imagery, creepy and unsettling vibes, owls that are not what they seem, my crush Audrey Horne (a goddess who deserves better), A LOT of fan theories and lore, the whole Blue Rose thing ... I am in love.
Also Phillip Jeffries the Teapot from Mars.
Here's a sketch of Diane, inspired by a scene in this fic.
Quiet evening and city lights
Young padawan Obi-wan sitting on the floor with Qui-Gon's cloak.
Quick and loose painting of my favorite jedi.
The unholy alliance of exams-related stress and skyrocketing temperatures (really, 40 degrees Celsius is a bit much even for my summer-loving self) sent me on a trip down memory lane, right into the Star Wars fandom.
I am learning to use Krita on my Android tablet, and since I am reading John Sugden's biography of a certain one-eyed, one-armed Royal Navy Vice-Admiral, I felt like a quick portrait of Horatio Nelson could be a fun way to start.
If anyone has advice on how to use krita please tell me. You'd make me quite happy, because right now I have no idea of what I am doing.
Study of Antarctic ladscape from a photo. About 45 min on artflow.
It has absolutely nothing to do with my last post. I swear. ( I am lying)
Director Gordon Cole and the Evanescent Phillip Jeffries, traditional art version
My silly digital painting app crashed and I lost the file for this one, so, despairing of modern technology, I went back to my sketch book. I still have to finish it though.
Probably I'll turn it into a watercolor/gouache illustration when I have the time. Probably not in the near future: exam season is upon me.
Italian med student with an obsession for painting. Also a mythology and history nerd. Give me a book and I'll give you my heart.
