I can never explain how madly in love I am with the way Armand is described in the books. His presence is so unique that even before he enters the scene you know he is going to be there, which is exactly how the characters narrating feel and Anne Rice just captures this so well. It's almost as if when you are reading you have the exact sensations as the narrator and you the reader, are just as hypnotised upon the mere sight of Armand.
