Almost at six now I see clear

I'll be released with 9 months new.
A cleansed soul and body, my baby due.
The name for my spawn may be odd
But gender is male, he is my brother.
August burned without a scar.
This month is one to remember.
Six is half and almost full,
10 pounds with some ounces.
