It was a cycle of adoring characters and drawing them as animals. With me drawing Pidge as a bat, a friend was sparked to draw her Myran OC, Kiri, as an axolotl. And. I just felt like I needed to draw them with animal backpacks. So! Thank you, @sweetmariabear, for inspiring me to draw this! I feel happy with it and I hope I did justice to drawing Kiri!

most nocturnal animals are harmless, that's why they come out at night, they'd get eaten if they came out of the day.

on that note, that's a herbivore.

Unironically, the human is more likely to harm you.

The bat really doesn't care enough about you to actually want to interact to you.

The human has more reason to interact with you in general.

Hard to get hurt by someone, who doesn't give a damn about you, wants nothing you have, has nothing you want, and you'll probably never even cross paths with, on account of you being out of their way, while they're out and about.
