Another fanart from an RPS fanfic. This one was done in mechanical pencil, mostly. I enjoyed the different faces and playing with angles of the face.

I’m a little hesitant to share this, but it’s for a greeting card contest that I entered recently. It’s a birthday card, if it wasn’t obvious. I wanted to do something like a children’s book or something simplistic for a card.

A little illustration of Isa and Lea from Kingdom Hearts in Totoro kigurumi. Or one of them is anyway, Lea’s not cooperating with me. Gonna try and get the texture for the background to cooperate with me so it can look sort of like a watercolour painting for me since that’s my preference/specialty in illustration.

And something from glass-blowing I’m actually pleased with! Well, I’m proving day by day I’m incompetent at glass-blowing (for now, I guess,) and my art teacher has determined that I should just make figurines. They just came naturally to me.

another piece from a dream. i dreamt that i was trying to kill myself by going underwater and purposely filling my water with lungs. in the end i was having second thoughts and wanted to swim up to the surface, but i was too far down to really be able to. so yes. watercolour and dip pen

"la-la-la-la-la" i went off for a few days due to depression episodes. i’ve never had one that was emotionally turbulent in which i did nothing but scream, cry, throw things and want to just wither in a little corner. i wanted to hide from my feelings and problems because i never felt more out of control in my whole life. i never felt more afraid of myself. so yeah, this piece is to highlight those moments from the past few days (which have recurred every month.) watercolour and dip pen.

same thing as the previous. one of the two life drawing pieces i was pleased with. this one was done on newspaper as well but with both sepia and black conte crayon.

pretty much something from life drawing i had put in the show. there were others but this and another were the only ones i found satisfactory over the rest (that and a great portion of those were gestural drawings.)

first submission! alright, this was originally for my girlfriend, exoskeletons. well, i wound up selling it for $30 at the art show. i was playing around with e.h. shepard’s style (the original artist for the winnie the pooh storybooks.) we have a little joke about comparing each other to a doberman and chihuahua and hence why this came out. media used: watercolour, india ink
