I'm tired of seeing Vivian every three posts. Because it just reeks of bias and hypocrisy.

Please, tell me one thing – how many people would really pay attention to her if she was not trans person?

Just how many of these posts are "oh, she's trans person, now I love her" and not "oh, I loved her before but her being trans person is cool"?

People often see gender or orientation as a trait in characters, which they are not. Whether they are male female or nonbinary, whether they are cis or trans, whether they are homo, hetero or basically anything else – none if it is defining trait. None of it. If you like character because they're queer you don't like this character, you just like the fact they're queer.

Characters have their personalities, their relationships, their interest and hobbies. If you take hetero male character and change him to be gay and his partner to be male as well, nothing fundamentally changes about this character. Their personality is the same. If you like their gay version but not hetero version, you're just biased. That's all.

Orientation, gender, nationality, religion and all the other labels there are – they are NOT definitive traits. In any way. If you like character because they're asian lesbian muslim, you don't like the character, you like these groups of people. If you like character for their charming or relatable personality, maybe combined with appearance and quirks – then you like the character. You can also like character because they're asian lesbian muslim AND they get through their problems very well, they deal with complications of being that way in their society – it's also liking a character. Not a bunch of labels, but the way they work with those.

I didn't see a single post praising Vivian on being strong and faithful to herself when her brothers didn't approve of her being their sister. You could guess nor did I see any praising her personality. Only praising her on being trans.

It reeks of bias. It reeks of love for labels. It just makes me so sick I feel like I'm about to throw up from the sheer hypocrisy of some people.

When you look at character, you should see characters. Not a bunch if these labels.

I just really had to get it off my chest, I seriously was about to throw up. Vivian deserves better. Trans characters deserve better. Queer and not only queer characters deserve better.

They deserve to be loved for being lovable characters, not for "oh they're queer i love them for this fact". They deserve to be the same people as other characters and perceived that way, not be some "and here we have queer in their natural habitat - oooooh, wow"

I'm not queerphobic, I'm just tired of people, who don't care about anything in character aside from being queer. They really deserve better.
