I hate “closed” tribes. Hot take- Tribes like Dewwings are just Leafwings2 - you shouldn’t be creating tribes or monetary value towards an IP you down own the rights to- they are just for flashy show because “look! I have a cool dragon, and hahah you don’t!”

I feel like Tui wouldn’t like them, simply because IPs like that make a lot of money, and publishers don’t like non-ip owners encroaching on that

been a bit! i had my sat and a bunch of other eventful things the past week or two — but glad to be back!

this is just a random silkwing (i’ve always loved drawing them) but i just realized it could also work for luna! hats off to that.

That nb kid that got beaten to death in OK looks so much like a long time friend of mine that when I first saw the picture I was like "whoa that's [redacted] as a teenager" and then when I sent it to my friend her reaction was also "whoa that's me as a teenager???"

And that's the problem, isn't it. That kid looked identical to a cis friend of mine who is barely, barely, BARELY any amount of GNC. She's not hyper fem but she's also not particularly masculine any more than a typical rural Alabaman woman with too much shit to do to spend all day dolling herself up would be.

And that kid got beaten to death.

And buried under dead name and pronouns.

And I'm just kinda. Wondering where the safety and privilege is in that.

As I've said many times, I'm perfectly willing to talk about the areas in my life that have become safer as I pass with lore and more regularity. Now when are we going to talk about those who can't, or those whose gender expression isn't in passing, or those who have just begun their journey and haven't yet been able to do anything about it.

This kid looked just like my cis friend. They're dead now. If "looking cis" doesn't save you, what does?

what brought you to joining tumblr?

aphmau brought me here! i saw the community, and as a lifelong aphmau fan—with a rewrite in the works by the way—i just had to join in. tumblr’s been on my radar for a while now to join!

what/when will you post?

i’ll be generally posting my art and ramblings! unfortunately, i probably won’t have a very set schedule, but i’ll try to post at least once or twice a week.

what should i stay for?

if you like my personality or art style, then you should stick around! i can’t promise i’ll be talking about every fandom i’m in, but a few that have always stuck with me are danganronpa, aphmau, and wings of fire. those three will probably continue being posted about throughout my tumblr career, so if you like that sort of content, i might be up your alley.
