The last few months anytime I would pick up my mom’s phone or tablet to play a game she would go “don’t be looking at my email” like she’s paranoid about it. I tell her I’m not looking at email but she kept on saying it. After this happened a bunch of times I started to wonder WTF she was so worried about. So I started to snoop in her email. She keeps her password saved so all I have to do is use the email app to see everything. I know I shouldn’t do it especially with her saying not to. But in my defense I never would have even thought to look if she didn’t put it in my head. The funny thing was I didn’t know what she was paranoid about. I didn’t see anything. The most embarrassing thing I saw was some emails about sexy ebooks she ordered, like romance novels. Who cares though? But I kept on snooping because I like reading the emails she writes her friends. She talks about things she doesn’t talk to me about. Not sex things but work and those things. I like knowing what’s going on in her life. I wish she would talk to me about it sometimes. I always thought we were pretty open but I guess we don’t communicate as well as I thought. Anyways back in June I saw an email from a VOD porn site. She rented a movie there! I was like all right, Mom! I was proud of her, weird as that sounds. Maybe that sort of thing is what she didn’t want me to find? There wasn’t any such emails before then. But she could have deleted them. She has rented nine or ten more porns since then. That I saw anyway. If she deletes the email before I have a chance to look, there could be ones I never see. The best part is the emails have the movie title right in the subject so I don’t have to click on them to see what movies she got. If I clicked on it she would know someone read it. Since I can see the titles I know what kind of porn she likes. Mostly vanilla stuff, though there have been a number of anal scenes in the movies she gets. But they didn’t have anal in the title as if she was looking for it. So you know all that, now here’s the good part. Two weeks ago she rented a fucking INCEST MOVIE! The Family That Lays Together, you made gifs from it where the mom goes “We can’t make a habit of this”. The thing is that was the only mom and son scene in that movie. There was one brother sister scene and two dad and daughter scenes. So I don’t know which of them she’s into. Still, my mom rented an incest movie! That seems like a good opening to talk to her about it and maybe the idea of us trying it. It would be a lot easier knowing she was into mom/son first. But my problem is I can’t say anything about the movie. She’ll know I was snooping in her email and she’ll be seriously pissed at me. I was so excited at first but now I don’t think there is anything I can do with this. I can’t tell her I know. It’s so frustrating. I was so close! lol! Do you have any thoughts on what I could do? Boy, that’s quite a story. You’re right, it’s pretty hard to say anything to her about the movie if you know she’ll get mad about you reading the e-mails.

My only real thought is completely obvious, but it would just be to keep looking to see if she rents any similar movies. Maybe stuff she rents in the future will let you narrow down what her interest is. If you can see her e-mail because she’s always logged in, is it like that on the rental site? If you go there are you logged in as her? Maybe you can see a list of things she’s rented, even ones you didn’t see the e-mails for. I wish I had something better for you.
