I think my desire to gatekeep Speak Now from the general public stems from how vulnerable of an album it is. It came at a time when there were so many expectations on her after Fearless did so well and the first seeds of doubt about her as an artist and songwriter started to sprout. The decision to write it completely independently and not hold anything back was so gutsy of her and that sentiment is echoed on the album.
She put her whole midnightussy into these vault tracks
theres no heterosexual explanation for this
how does everyone know dianna proposed
It’s an assumption — arising in the first instance from an anonymous source supplied by @larrienation in July 2016 — albeit, one for which there is circumstantial ‘evidence’ in support.
(i.) There is good reason to suspect that Taylor wanted to marry Dianna:
This is consistent with Taylor’s writing in the period of their relationship: the lyrics to How You Get the Girl — ‘I want you for worse or for better’ ‘I would wait for ever and ever’ (cf. Wonderland, for the aftermath, ‘we pretended it could last forever (last forever)’ ‘And life was never worse but never better (never better)’) — suggest that she anticipated marriage (to Dianna).
Taylor performed Speak Now, a song about interrupting an ex’s wedding, live on the first tour date (6th September 2013) after attending a Fun concert with Dianna (4th September — this was not only two years to the day since their reintroduction to each other at Fairfax Flea Market, but the first time they had communicated publicly since Dianna’s birthday in April, when their engagement supposedly was broken-off.)
According to an interview with Global News in December 2014, Style was written about ‘that one person who you feel like might interrupt your wedding and [who would] be like don’t do it because we’re not over yet.’ Style, on my conception, is about Dianna.
Taylor’s reaction to Dianna’s marriage in 2016 was interesting – at her only concert of that year (in Austin, in October) she changed the lyrics to I Knew You Were Trouble for a second time, from ‘you never loved me’ to “she never loved me.” (x)
(ii.) It is an idea which seemingly is endorsed by the music video to Look What You Made Me Do:
Significantly, there is a ring box in shot in the bank-heist scene — a scene in which Taylor appears with a cat mask as a literal pussy bandit. ‘pussy bandit’ is a popular nickname of Dianna’s, pre-dating her relationship with Taylor. [Note: the swiftlife debuted a ‘pussy bandit’ taymoji in the “better than revenge” pack on the day that the music video for Babe, another song associated with Dianna, was released.]

It is also tacitly endorsed by the visuals for Clean, a song popularly associated with Dianna, on the 1989 tour. Taylor wears a white dress, while the rain-water substitutes for a veil (here).
ETA (21/05/2019)
On one interpretation of the music video to ME!, Brendon’s three attempts to woo Taylor on the rooftop represent Taylor’s three ‘real relationships.’ The second in sequence (Brendon as Dianna) involves Taylor’s rejection of a proposal.
ETA (12/06/2019)
It is arguable that the lyric “a circus ain’t a love story” in Getaway Car (again, a song associated with Dianna) alludes to Taylor’s non-acceptance of a proposal. It is, after-all, apparent that in (an actual) Love Story, an affirmative answer is assumed (”it’s a love story, baby just say yes.”)

In her Red Tour performance of I Knew You Were Trouble, Taylor wears a white (wedding?) dress to sing the first part of the song.
taylor swift is just so goddamn gay and closeted and obvious and cryptic and outspoken and contradictory. i want to scream . feeling very happy, free, confused, and lonely at the same time
I’m watching live and during the betty speech she said “he goes to a party some time in August..” it was Betty’s BIRTHDAY PARTYY
Happy birthday august-born Karlie Elizabeth Kloss ;)
every surprise song from speak now on the eras tour so far has been sung in a yellow closeted dress… 👀
Taylor if you see my tumblr I hope you know I’m a real one and not just some flakey hater. I’ve been loving you since I was 11 (when I thought we were both straight). Just because I call you out on your bullshit stunts and questionable friends does not mean that you’re going to lose my support because we’re all human and we all have big fears sometimes that make us feel trapped. So (even though I’m not a global pop star) I do get it to the extent that I can. I am simply doing what you asked us to do: to listen to your lyrics and stand by you forever. And sure, it’s EXHAUSTING rooting for the anti-hero, but I don’t think that’s who you truly are and I know you’re going to fly free soon. So…we’re cool?
it's so crazy how y'all will accept that taylor calls herself a cursed man in dear reader but calling herself a sad boy in question is apparently too far for the hetlors?
