Episode 11
When whumpee is already kneeling and whumper hits them, hard, causing them to fall to the ground
Bonus points if they're manhandled back to their knees
Strapped to a metal table, staring into the luminescent lights on the ceiling.
Handcuffed to a hospital bed to prevent an escape attempt.
A leather muzzle strapped to the face on account of the subject’s “aggression”.
Ropes binding wrists and ankles to a chair, carving into skin.
A metal collar connected to a chain which can be used to pull the captive around.
Strong arms wrapped around someone until they stop fighting.
Chains around ankles or wrists, being pulled along by captors as they march a prisoner through the streets.
Confined to a straight jacket in a padded cell after lashing out against staff members.
A single chain connected from the ankle to a wall, limiting movement and serving as a constant reminder that there’s no escape.
your writing does not have to be good. your author’s note does not have to go on its knees for a hundred words before each chapter repenting. you only have to let the soft gremlin of your brain write what it wants.
An explosion shook the house. The door went flying from its hinges. The hero didn't even flinch. They kept eating their breakfast.
"Honey, your experiment knocked down the door again," they called.
The villain poked their head out of the lab. Their goggled were covered in soot. They lifted them onto their forehead.
"Sorry, babe," the villain said. "Can I put it back later? I'm really close to figuring out the formula."
The hero yawned. "Sure. Just don't let the dog get in. We don't need another pet with wings."
The villain gave the thumbs up and ducked back into their lab. Another explosion went off. The hero rolled their eyes, but they couldn't help smiling.
The whumpee's head lolled to the side, eyes squeezed shut as they tried to calm their breathing.
In, out, in-
Their mind went blank as blinding pain shot up their spine.
They never got used to it. The whumpee's hands spasmed as, with a mind of their own, they tried to reach for the collar around their neck. All this resulted in was the whumpee pulling rather painfully at the ropes that suspended them from the ceiling.
Even if their hands were free, there was no way the whumpee could get this off. It was locked tightly, supplying shocks at what seemed like random intervals.
They struggled to keep their footing as another one ripped through their body, there was barely a break between this and the last one.
The whumpee let out a ragged sob, "you're not even watching! Why- what.. purpose does this serve?"
Silence.
Nothing but the whumpee's own heavy breathing.
"Please stop," they whispered, too quiet to be heard by anyone outside the room who might actually be able to fulfill their request, it was more of a quiet prayer.
There was no answer.
we used to have normalized whump. remember what they took from you....
Warnings: captivity, hypothermia, cold torture
“HELLO!” Whumpee shouted as they banged on the door to the cell they’d been thrown into hours ago. “PLEASE! ANYONE!”
They had been banging on the door for hours. Hours after Whumper had shoved them in here. Hours after they had walked every inch of the tiny cell looking for a way to escape. Hours after realizing if they didn’t get out of here soon, they would likely freeze.
“PLEASE!” They said as another shiver wracked their body. They were so cold. And so tired. But they couldn’t stop.
But they had to. It was becoming too hard to raise their fist to the door. Too hard to keep standing. As they slid down the door, rolling into a ball, they began to cry. It was hopeless.
Whumpee was too tired and cold to notice that their tears froze on their cheeks, beading their eyelashes with tiny icicles. They were too cold and tired to notice the camera pointed directly at them from an observation window. And they were too tired and cold to notice when the door finally opened.
do u ever just point at two characters and go “i want that one to get hurt and i want the other one to get really angsty about it”
five dialogue prompts for characters who have a hard time resting :)
"Don't sit up. You'll rip your stitches."
"You need to calm down. Your heart rate is spiking."
"Stop trying to get up. I don't want you fainting again."
"Lie back down, please. Your fever is too high for you to be moving around."
"I know we have to keep moving, but if we don't treat that wound now, it'll slow us down even more."
