here's my take on listener! I originally wanted to give her huge bat ears to be on brand with the name, but decided against it as they weren't working well with her other features. She gives me really strong magenta vibes, so I changed her color scheme a lot to fit that + added some small pink star markings along her body and wings!

As for her frame, I wanted to really amplify the idea that Listener is tall for her age (As described in the wiki) by giving her longer limbs than some of my other designs. Her tail, head, wings and feet may seem slightly disproportionate: my effort to make her seem more like a kid going through a crazy growth spurt, compared to someone who's just tall. I'm sure Listener grew to be a more functional tall queen into adulthood, but she's definitely a little wobbly right now.

First drawing in Clip studio! really liking how it feels to draw but i'm still getting used to the UI.

I like to think that poorer mudwing homes would just slowly merge into a apartment style building with winding hallways, while richer mudwing homes have a planned layout and A LOT of painting on the outside to show off.

Casually texting my dad and asking him what he was making for dinner. I asked if he was also making a side and he replied, “Yes sire.” I’m pretty sure this is a typo.

In other news, you must all refer to me as sire from now on.

My roommate doesn’t want to keep our friendship up right now. They said that we each need our own space to work things out.

I am currently at the worst spot I have ever been mentally, to the point where I’ve been hospitalized, and he is just up and leaving.

I’ve texted them fun things, things I’m thinking, just to have some reason to talk to him but he doesn’t respond to more than half of the things I send. And when I told him that I was hurting and feeling ignored because of him not responding, they told me to think about myself right now and to work on getting better myself before pushing me off to go tell my family and get support from them instead.

I don’t want to talk to my family or tell them that I’m here. That seems like the worst thing I could possibly do right now.

Like usually I just get fucking hysterical and stupid and emotional and say dumb shit. I told them I wouldn’t tell my family cause I’m just a fucking failure. He gave me a better option to tell them I have been battling clinical depression to the point that I’ve been hospitalized. I just said no.

He turned on me and told me that he’d need my mom’s and sister’s phone number since he’s my emergency contact. And because I’m an idiot I told him to fuck off.

40 minutes later he sent me a long message saying that I do not get to speak to them like that and that he will be finding a way to contact my sister no matter what. He won’t be contacting my mom. They left of saying that we need some space from each other for both of our sakes.

I hate myself.

None of this whole thing has been told to my mom yet so while I was in the ER with my phone being dead I apparently got a text from her that just said, “Do your passport renewal.” No hello, no how are you doing, just straight to the point.

Had to resist the urge to go, “uh…. Welll…. Nooo…… kinda uh…. Craaaaaazyyyy.”

Hermit-A-Day May 4! My favourite alt hermit, Secret Life Scar!

Ignore how behind I am lol. Whether I ever actually catch up is a mystery. This one took me longer than I’m willing to admit. I’m very torn between both of Scar’s Secret Life skins for my favourite but it was also ridiculously hard to even pick an alt to draw. Anyway, hope this man is taking care of his sunflowers out there and maybe some other flowers too…

Love how the flowers turned out. Can you tell I’ve drawn lilacs and poppies a lot? Hehehe

It’s Hermit-A-Day May!! I’m a little late but I’m excited to try my best with these haha.

Starting it off with my favourite hermit <3. Impulse is easily my favourite streamer ever and I just love him so much man. Drawing him is always a treat!

I love how the hair turned out! I normally struggle with shorter hair like his so this was a real win. I also like the colouring for the hair too. I’m getting better at highlights in hair. Hopefully things stay this good for hair haha, (though we know it won’t). It’s always up and down.
