My unfinished drawing of Nacho that I haven’t been doing in FOREVER since quarantine cuz of art block and life stuff but I can say that I improved some even tho I haven’t drawn him in two months and it shocks me how good this actually is for once. But yeah it’s a beat up Nacho with a black eye, sleep deprived eye, cuts on his nose, and a busted lip Incase if it is that bad.

Backstory: they have been homies since childhood at the Albuquerque playground Jesse’s mom would bring him to and met a African American boy the same age as him with the biggest smile that offered to play with him and since then a friendship was born.

Delane’s backstory: He is dyslexic and hasn’t gotten special help for it in school but, he had Jesse to help him but now that Jesse is with Jane he doesn’t want his friend unhappy and alone so, he didn’t want to ruin the ‘moment’ they were having when he came to Jesse’s house to report about the dealings and he decided to do it the next day. Now he has Nacho Varga since he now works for him ever since they unlikely met in Los Pollos Hermanos when he was working for Jesse’s operations. At first when they met they DESPISED eachother but, when they first started to get to know eachother they became very good friends.

( And without Delane’s knowledge Nacho likes him and yes let’s pretend the crack whores don’t exist in this AU and Nacho and Lalo used to be a thing and Lalo seeing Delane with his ex that he wants back makes him jealous and y’all are gonna hate Lalo in this AU sadly ).

Delane’s Bio: Has a bad upbringing in his family because their drug addicts and he has been abused several times by his mother Natasha and his step dad Darrel. He’s treated as if he has a disease in the family while his mother’s and step dads child his step sister Anastasia are treated with the love he never had received and never will sadly and he blames himself for having his disability but, he has his own family consisting of; Jesse Pinkman, Badger, Skinny Pete, and Nacho with some of the guys he gets along with in the cartel. Even though his parents are drug addicts themselves and he smokes weed he vows to never do anything harder than that.

Height: 5’11 ( y’all know damn well he’s taller than Pinkman and Nacho )

Dislikes: He’s not too picky about things, the family he’s stuck with, having to go back home, The Salamancas, racists, and homophobic people.

Sexuality: He’s unsure at the moment because he’s never actually gave it much thought. But he does kinda like Nacho.

Born in: Empire State, New York, but he wasn’t raised there he was later moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA and lived there for the rest of his life in a shitty condo not with his ‘family’ because he crashes at his friends houses and stuff but, here and there he crashes at Nacho’s house, just like at Jesse’s house he’s welcome to come over whenever he wants.

Personality: He’s too pure of a cinnamon roll and broken for cartel work and dealings that’s for sure, but he gets around just fine. Except when he has to go to the strip clubs with the cartel and would rather be with a dog instead and it doesn’t matter what dog. He’s friendly, has a kindred spirit, has the guts of a pitbull, compassionate, very loyal, thoughtful, protective of the ones he loves, dutiful, hard working, has trust issues, cautious, wary about a lot of things, free spirited, and will knock anyone’s lights out if necessary. And a good baby sitter.

Fun facts: He may look intimidating but, he’s actually self conscious and acts as sensitive as a big English bullmastiff puppy. He has tons of tattoos on his body, he has a bandana and hat collection, he soon hopes to get a dog collection one day. He has never been stung by a bee, wasp or hornet, he acts younger than he is because the poor kid never had a childhood. He can play the trombone and saxophone. When Nacho and him first met he called Nacho ‘cholo’ or ‘cheesy chips’.

Reign in Hell, Chapter 8 - Hail Infernal World

“When does everyone get here?” Lalo asked when they’d finished eating.

“I told them lunch. They’re staying the night—Yolanda’s set up the servant’s quarters. Don’t think anyone’s going to want to stay in the guest house, even if we could get the smell out.” He glanced at the clock. “Marco and Leonel should be here any minute though.”

Lalo blinked. “You called them?”

Nacho folded his arms. “Of course I called them. They need to know what’s going on.”

It was true enough, but Lalo still felt a pit in his stomach. “And which version of the truth did you tell them?”

“They know we’re working with Fring.”

“And what did they say?”

Nacho shrugged. “Not much.” His voice softened. “Marco just asked what I needed.”

The pit in Lalo’s stomach grew larger. “And what do you need?”

“Reminders to the plaza bosses of our power, before they get any ideas. Everyone knows what Marco and Leonel are capable of. Besides, they’re Salamancas. They should be here. This is their empire too now.”

“And that’s all you want from them?” When Nacho didn’t answer, Lalo pressed further. “You aren’t going to fuck them again, are you?”

Nacho shifted in his seat and shrugged.

A cold anger brewed in him. “You want to punish me more—is that it?”

Nacho snorted. “You might find this hard to believe, but not everything is about you.”

“Then why?” He hit the table. “Ignacio, no! I will not stand for it!”

“Did you take too many of those pain pills, or can you just not get it through your thick fucking skull?” Nacho snarled. He pinched the bridge of his nose before continuing in a more measured tone. “Just so we’re perfectly clear—you don’t get a say in what I do anymore. No one does. Not Tuco, not Hector, not Fring—” He leaned forward and gave Lalo’s injured shoulder a hard tap, right on the bullet wound. “—and not you.”

Lalo was too stunned to react. Nacho stood. “Just shut up and do as you’re told. If you’re really good, maybe I’ll let you watch.”

Lalo stared at Nacho’s retreating back and rubbed his shoulder. That had really hurt.

Nacho: *casually drops car keys* “I’mma bounce BYE Y’ALL!”
