Hello!! For some reason misfortune after misfortune has been dropping upon me.

Today I opened up my iPad, which is in a pretty hefty case, only to find the screen so shattered I can see the inside. My iPad is my main source of income and enjoyment through art, and is particularly a loss as I'm disabled which makes it the most low-strain method to create.

I'm asking for donations to soften the blow, as I cannot take commissions with the screen like this. I also have stickers available for sale if you'd like to support me and get some cute stuff in return!

I do not need the full cost of the iPad, I have money saved that I can use on this, but with the holiday season I really need to get a new one as soon as possible. Anything at all helps.

here's a thing i haven't seen people talk about for whatever reason. romance can be a form of abuse. romance can be traumatizing. romance can be upsetting to experience. having romance forced upon you is a form of harassment. having someone repeatedly express romantic interest in you despite you rejecting them is awful and uncomfortable and violating.

something doesn't have to be sexual in nature or intent in order to be a form of harassment. romantic harassment is a real thing. the only reason nobody talks about that is because everyone is just too attached to the idea of romance as an inherent positive to realize that it can and has been used to hurt people.

This bloodbath has gone on for far too long. At the start of this aggression, the school year had barely just started. The academic year ends in just a month. Everyone, from first graders to university seniors, have lost an entire year at least. I say at least considering even if there is a ceasefire today, Israel had destroyed literally all universities in Gaza and damaged over 400 schools. Lest we forget also Israel's deliberate targeting of university professors and academics.

You absolutely cannot mistake the intent behind all of this.

Curious as to what program you use to write. Like I see the mention of ‘set target’ and ‘reading time’ in what you shared in your updates.

CALMLY WRITER I cannot recommend it enough if you have a hard time focusing. It does for me in my brain what google docs can't. There's a desktop download version and an online browser version. Desktop version is ten bucks and online browser is free. Desktop version doesn't have a online backup but does save your progress automatically like google docs does, and online version does the same, but you can directly upload to google drive from there. There's also more features in desktop version. Sometimes I'll switch between the two.

ZEN WRITER is also one of my favorites. That thing is SUPER customizable. 10/10
