I see a fellow hetalia&house enjoyer. I see you
hetalia and just about everything that has Hugh Laurie or Stephen Fry in it
House would have figured out what’s wrong with Will Graham after nearly killing him and would have been like oh yeah also your therapist has been feeding you poison chicken soup that’s why you’re getting worse, probably should check his freezer too the guys not subtle with the cannibalism. But it’s easy to miss all this when you’re getting bent over the therapy chair instead of sitting in it.
In my Hozier era if u can’t tell

Enemies MY ASS he was so resentful towards Will to the point of breaking his skull open yet he still cared for his cunning boy not to burn his tongue
This cannibal and his love language ughhhh
Gorgeous gif by @bloodydancy :3
The symbolism in this scene is breathtaking to me. It doesn't feel like it was meant to merely imply how willing Hannibal was to sacrifice himself for Will by taking the bullet.
It reminds me of this Bellini's painting: The Blood of the Redeemer (1465).
Christ, resurrected after crucifixion, body still pale and weak, yet pressing the wound in his side to let his blood flow into the chalice.
Hannibal portrayed as if he's Christ, right side pierced, his blood spilling, pouring into wine, offering not just protection but also forgiveness, redemption and transformation through his sacrifice. There's even an air of quiet divinity in his face, almost content as he bleeds.
And then there's Will. Drinking wine, accepting the love and salvation tied to Hannibal's sacrifice and suffering, partaking in his resurrection, uniting with him in it... . One step closer to that god he once sought in Cappella Palatina.
What if I
in the most loving way possible
Go on 😋
One day we will commit tax fraud together <33 (at this point I'm just spamming u sorry 💔🇮🇹💔)
Tax fraud as cockroaches?
there's something really significant about this episode
will fantasizes about killing hannibal in the first scene when hannibal asks him to imagine what he would like to happen
and then he's faced with the scene right out of his fantasies, he has hannibal tied up and defenseless, he would've killed him. easily. the opportunity was right there. instead he cut him free
but that's the thing... hannibal and will are much aware that if their lives would be much easier and simple if they kill the other. will wouldn't have to face the part of himself he's been trying to repress and hannibal could be efficient and alone again, not held back by his 'compassion' for will
they acknowledge that, but they also can not seem to live without the other. they don't want to be without the other - whether they admit it or not, that's what holds them back from doing it
