Shoutout to my fellow chronically ill people on tumblr who are having a hard time. This pain doesn't have to last forever. Even if some diseases can't be cured, it doesn't mean they can't be treated and that we can't find more comfort within our lives. We are here. And we will stay here and let people know we exist. Let society know we deserve access to better healthcare, to transportation, any type of equipment that helps us to walk, eat, shower. We deserve caretaking, accessible and safe spaces where we can move freely, better work conditions with good payment, and benefits for those of us who can't work. Yes, you may be in pain. But you are still here. You've been fighting for so long and I know it is tiring, but you are so strong. We need you here. I am here, feeling pain alongside you, feeling tired of fighting, but still holding your hand and telling you to have faith because we can make this world a better place.

Enjoy! Questions for Reflection The sixth circle of hell is dedicated to the punishment of Heresy, a vice of the intellect and the will: it is obstinacy in error. There Dante meets the souls of the Epicurean philosophers who live eternally in burning tombs for having denied the…

So Zayne coded it’s Ridiculous
You aren’t a failure if you aren’t productive in a way society expects. This applies even when you’re having a good day and could be productive but decide not to be. When we are too drained or in pain or whatever else our chronic illness is causing us, we don’t get to enjoy rest. It’s something that’s forced on us.
It’s okay to have a day where you intentionally rest and take care of yourself even if your body is having a “good” day. This is productive in itself and you’re allowed to take time to enjoy down time.
