Y’all the summer camp I work at gives its counselors “camp names” based off of interests, skills, jokes, stuff like that. Campers call you by your camp name for the funny and don’t find out your real name for the end of the week cause it’s silly and the campers have a bunch of fun trying to guess your real name, and because this is my first year working here I had yet to receive a camp name until….my bestie gave me the camp name Octavius!!!!! I’m super excited for kids to call me Octavius all summer and to be able to explain the NATM lore to them!!!! /srs

I want to listen to more French music to improve my listening comprehension, but none of the music my French teacher plays for us is really my music taste. I really enjoy classic rock and folk, and I’ve been listening to a bit more Bridget Bardot recently. Any good recommendations?

My father and I get suuuuuuuper competitive about WHAMmageddon, but this year I lost two days in when I walked into my science class and my teacher had it playing (he has never heard of WHAMmageddon). My family went to a Christmas light show tonight, the kind where you tune your radio to a certain station and they have music playing alongside the lights, and before we turned it on he gave us a lengthy speech about how he loved us enough to risk losing WHAMmageddon. The radio gets turned on and the first song to play? Last Christmas by WHAM.
