I once saw a parent take their 7-10 year old child to see Prometheus. Needless to say, the child was traumatized by the alien birth scene.
Also, I can’t help but laugh at the parents who let their 10-year-olds watch Deadpool and then complain about the language, violence, and sexual content in a film that is clearly rated R.
why the fuck would you bring young children to an 11 pm screening of “Joker.” There is absolutely nothing in that movie for children, what are you doing. It’s almost midnight and this movie is rated “R”
I don’t know about anyone else but I don’t go to late night screenings of R rated movies with the expectation that there will be children in the theater with me.
At least once the children actually started getting upset she left, but jeez, maybe make sure a movie is appropriate for children before you buy tickets.
“Where is reading comprehension? Where is nuance?”
Ladies and Gentlemen, we need to make this a meme all Literature teachers and professors can get behind.
Make it happen!
alicent voice where is reading comprehension where is nuance
Oh no!
finding out that the woman I was just telling about frances burney’s mastectomy and how awful and traumatic it must’ve been for her is actually currently in treatment for breast cancer
I think his working away from Sanditon might be the best thing for him. Tom was not a reliable boss and Stringer deserves better.
He’ll be just fine in London.
I heard he became a Viking king, so all is well with Young Mister Stringer.
stringer from sanditon deserved better
Inquisitor Glokta from The First Law trilogy.
I am somehow proud of this design <3
Thank you. People need to breathe and take a moment to think before they run to their keyboards.
I’m a little surprised that so many actually believe that Jaime is going home to support Cersei.
I truly feel that he’s going there to put an end to her. If not, what has been the point of the last 5 seasons?
There’s still a prophecy to be fulfilled, and it will be Jaime who fulfills it I think.
I do believe he meant all those things he said about himself to Brienne, but I believe it’s a reason for killing her, not joining her. And obviously it’s about how he doesn’t deserve Brienne. Which he doesn’t.
So, I know you people love to rage, but there’s gotta be more at work here!
Part of what makes Sansa successful in the end is because she tries to learn from other people, regardless of whether she likes them or not. There is a lot to be said for the Ceresi’s and Littlefinger’s of the world. Sure she has setbacks, but she learns.
Compare that to say Jon who is destined to make mistakes, or Daenerys who also makes the same mistake in Westeros that she did in Qarth, in Mereen, and other places.
I was thinking about that conversation in which Jon asked if Sansa admired Cersei. I guess It’s not exactly admiration, but Sansa understands Cersei. She gets that Cersei was abused and suffered a lot and she knows how it’s like to be blamed for your own abuse. Just like Cersei, I guess Sansa has a lot of anger within her. It doesn’t mean she admires Cersei. Still, it’s funny when antis say Sansa became Cersei 2.0 just because of this scene 😂
how could sansa admire cersei? cersei abused sansa, she held her hostage. jon’s comment was deeply insulting and offensive to sansa.
Jon Snow....King Beyond the Wall.
Sansa Stark.....Queen of the North.
Bran Stark....King of Westeros (um okay)
Arya Stark....Queen of this ship.
Maybe Arya will one day be the Queen of a fantasy version of America?
Margaret was born in Westminster Palace on November 28th, 1489, she was the second child and first daughter of Henry VII and his queen Elizabeth of York. She was named in honor of her grandmother, Margaret Beaufort. Margaret was betrothed to James IV, King of Scots in 1502 when Margaret was 12, her mother and grandmother insisted that her marriage wait until she was older and so Margaret was married by proxy on 25 January 1503. Her younger brother Henry succeeded their father in 1509 and tensions between England and Scotland began to rise which came to a head with the battle of Flodden in 1513, where Margaret’s husband James would be killed in battle leaving Margaret a young widow and their young son James as king.
Margaret was made regent to her son, but Margaret would make an ill fated marriage with Archibald Douglas the earl of Angus which would make Margaret flee to England in 1515 where she gave birth to her daughter and only other surviving child, Margaret Douglas. Margaret returned to Scotland in 1517, she would marry for the third time in 1528 to Henry Stewart, Lord Methven. Margaret was never able to achieve peace between England and Scotland, her brother and her son James would never be true allies and the relationship between her two countries would remain tense.
Margaret died in 1541, her son would outlive her for only a year and Margaret’s granddaughter, Mary, become queen at only a week old. Margaret’s great grandson through both her son and daughter, James VI, would follow her nice Elizabeth as the next king of England in 1603, uniting the crowns of England and Scotland, Margaret is the ancestress of every British monarch since.
