You know that opposite art style challenge or something that was going on a while ago?
This is mine, lineless, chili, and pretty semi blended
But this is also how I'd picture Frisk in my au if they fell when they were much younger
I so could have wished to have more back story with Trellis and Riva maybe even Layra. I wanted to know how the elves childhoods were especially how each characters family was so different. I definitely would have loved a book that was devoted to just the elves, to really see how their lives were and if the knew how bad the war really was or if they even knew about it.
Ikol too, how did he come to be? They semi mentioned other voices like himself. Are they all like him? Is he the worst of the group or are there more evil ones? Why does he seem to be the only one? In book 8 there are a bunch of different species saying that they're from all over and could be a galaxy or two away. But Ikol seems to be the only voice in these galaxies, being able to connect to all the stonekeepers. So where are the other voices, how far away are they, can they talk to the other stonekeepers or can only one voice talk to a stonekeepers?
So many questions and theories. I hope book 9 answers a few at least
If not I hope this rewrite can answer these questions
A question for my fellow Amulet fans:
What are subjects or concepts you wish were explored and delved deeper into in the books? What concepts or ideas do you think weren’t necessary, or shouldn’t have been as explored? As I am doing my rewrite I am considering shaving down the side-plot of Navin being a commander and all his mech-suit shenanigans down to a minimum. It may be my personal bias for fantasy over mecha ad sci-fi talking, but the side-plot for Navin never intrigued me nearly as much as the main plot with Emily, Trellis, and Vigo.
Thoughts?
ASKING YOURSELF?
