Summary: After the Milano arrived, Rocket had to figure out the sad true, that none of his family survived and that one of his biggest fears became true.
words:477
little note: This is the fist time that I actually post one of my written story's. Duno whether that's good tho, but hope y'all like it. You can give me your opinion down below, also cause I ain't sure whether to continue the story or not.
Rocket was still at the spot where Groot disintegrated, his last word still in his mind, when he heard someone arrive. 'Was it... no, it can't be the Milano', he thought, but it was.
Not wasting another second, he run torward it, relieved that the rest of his family survived, yet more than broken that Groot did not and afraid of how they would react. The door opened and two people appeared, a guy he's never seen before and Nebula which he, by now, know to well.
'Where are they, where is his team, his family'. He start to panic, while the other so called Avengers run to the, for him, unknown man.
Ignoring it all, he run past them and into the Milano.
'They has to be here, they can't all be gone'. He searched every room, but ther is no sign of them. He's now in the cockpit looking around, when he hears someone behind him "I swear, if this was meant to be a freakin' joke..." he said, his voice cracking, while he turned around to see who it was, Nebula.
He looked at her with tears in his eyes, she didn't need to say anything, cause he knew that this isn't a joke or a bad dream. No, its real, still he don't want to believe it.
"This can't be... this can't be real." he whispered, the tears already falling, not carrying that she was here.
Nebula was standing there, not sure of what to do, but when Rocket was about to search again, (for any sign of them) Nebula stops him.
"It's no use. You can search the ship one hundred times, that won't change anything." she was not yelling, but loud enough "They are gone, all of them... she's gone" she said, but whispered the last part, in hope that he didn't heard it.
He know that she was right, but he couldn't, no, he didn't want to accept it.
"There has to be a way." he said, still to quiet that she could barely hear him. He was to exhaust to speak. His mind, his feelings were a mess. He felt broken, sad, scared and angry, not only cause of the fact that Nebula survived, (not that he hate it that she actually survived, but that she is the only survivor, if you include his family) but at himself, that he wasn't able to protect his family. He felt guilty, that he had left the rest of the Guardians to go with Thor. He regret, that he has made that decision and question himself whether they would all still be well and alive, if he would have stayed with them and the more he thought 'bout it, the worse it got.
'This is all my fault', he thought, the guilt and regret growing more and more inside of him.
IM TRYING TO SHOW MY FRIEND THAT GROOT IS MORE THAN A TREE💖
Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I sure as hell don't care!
Okay... I'm sorry, but I really have had enough. Stop blaming the Guardians for what happened in infinity war!!!
I mean sure, Quill made a mistake and didn't wait till they got that damn gauntlet. But for real, everyone would have reacted that way, if they would have just find out that their loved ones died. No one can tell me otherwise and if anyone does, then sorry, but I doubt that you really care for that person.
Another thing is, I've read somewhere that Gamora is the one to blame as well. Now I'm questioning, why? Yeah, maybe in some people's opinion, she shouldn't have go to Knowhere and faced Thanos, but y'all forgetting that she made Quill promise her, that he need to kill her, should Thanos ever get her and the fact, that he actually did pulled that damn trigger proves a lot, but Thanos manipulated reality so it was no use.
+ that later, she actually did tried to kill herself and really did tried to keep Thanos from getting the soul stone.
Besides, what about Strange or I dunno, Thor maybe... Look, Dr. strange have seen like over 14 million different outcomes, but they only win in one, how come, that now the fandom find one way after another, of how they could have done it?
My second example is Thor. Sure, he lost everyone and that's why he wanted to kill Thanos while telling him, that he told him before, that he would pay for what he did. I mean, I get that, I really do, but like many people already said, why aiming for the chest or like Thanos said, for the head, when he could have cut his freakin' arm! Like seriously, he could have still killed him afterwards, but no, he had to make it his way and that's why Thanos was still able to snap his finger and wipe out half of the population in the whole damn univers.
Once again, it weren't just Quill or Gamora who made a mistake, but the other ones as well!
So, next time better pay attention to everyone's actions, before picking just one person, who to blame for the whole thing that happened!
THANK YOU!!!
(Sorry for some grammar mistakes or something, but english ain't my native language. Still I apologise if I made any of these mistakes.)
Guys just imagine, after Endgame, let just say all the Guardians are back at the end and they go back flying into space, and every night when everyone is asleep Rocket sneaks to every room, only to make sure that his family is still there.
I finally got my Infinity War ticket, gonna see it on 28th april.
Sad it couldn't be on opening night tho, but still soo excited, can't wait for it.
I've watched Infinity War just a few hours ago and... damn I still can't... what just happen, they can't just leave us like that.
It's freakin' 2am, I'm literally lying in bed crying, I'm dead inside. It's like I feel so many emotions all at once and completely numb at the same time.
At the end of Infinity War Rocket is on terra, a planet he probably knows nothing about 'cept for the story's Quill might have told them, but that story's we're from when he was a kid, before he got taken away by the Ravagers and so much changed over the years, he don't know anyone on terra, well 'cept Thor, but he's not part of his team, not part of his family, the only people who really care for him and accept him and the only people he really cares about.
No, he is stuck in there all alone, probably doesn't even know where to go or what to do.
And there is still the fact that he had to see Groot, his best friend and son die, not just once but twice, right in front of him and that he probably don't even know that the rest of his family died, that he literally lost everything.
I mean just remember ⬇️
I'm sorry if I made things worse, but this are just some of the thoughts I have ever since I saw Infinity War and I just had to get it outta my chest, it's killing me inside.
Where are those woke white people at!?
I feel like what killed Guardians of the Galaxy fandom love was Infinity War and I was just left sorta heartbroken (in a way) and wandered aimlessly to fill the void (with Pacific Rim) and it just didn't get a chance to recover. Maybe it'll come back. I miss you, Guardians of the Galaxy.
Reblog this if you want a movie about Gamora
Okay, but can we talk 'bout Rocket's reaction when Thor mentioned Nidavellir.
He seemed pretty excited that it exist for real and start to tell the other Guardians what this place is 'bout. Like, he didn't know that this exist for sure, even tho he obviously heard of it and then Thor just shows up and tell them that he have to go there to get a new weapon.
...duno, just something else I was recently thinking 'bout.
