Spydad is my weakness 😭
“Oh, and you’re grounded.”
Can somebody tell me why every page of the comic looks like a different person drew it? Like I swear that I don't use ai (don't even get me started) or nothing but my style changes all the time. Or maybe it's because I produce one page in half a year... Hmm 🤔
My rendering test, i could have done way better but I only wanted to know what I'm actually capable of.
Original picture under cut. (Why does he always smile so weird?)

A gentle reminder to anyone in the TF2 fandom that got let down by comic #7:
Just because it’s the canon ending, doesn’t mean you don’t get a choice in how things play out. You can do what you want with the characters and create your own ending to the story.
The beauty of fandom is being able to share your opinions from a different perspective. Your ideas matter, and it’s okay to disregard things that are canon if you choose to do so. It’s fictional.
Making something new and changing things up from the original story shouldn’t be frowned upon, but encouraged. You should feel comfortable being able to do that.
Genuinely tweaking. How. /pos

Can't seem to help myself but line art always looks good but then I try to render it and bleh... Also what brush am is supposed to use to make lineart look like lineart?
I haven't read the 7th comic yet and tbh I haven't read the previous ones as well (I will one day hopefully) but I'm already tearing up.
They're a happy family and that's all I ever needed. Idk what else to say cause I'm still in shock but uh yah.
The TF2 comic. The themes. The seven year wait, the seven year timeskip.
Of course it was all for nothing. No answer would be satisfying after seven years of waiting. Seventeen years, actually, if we count from when the game came out. So the passage of time becomes the point. The memories have faded. We keep going anyway. Because it was important, at some point. For some reason.
And at the end of it, we're left with the people we met along the way. The connections we share, the people we love. Because that *does* matter, more than lore, more than revenge. The characters have grown, and changed. Aged. So has the audience. None of us are the same people we were seven years ago. And yet, we come back to this. These characters we loved. Continue to love. Because that matters.
I'm really, truly satisfied.
