My clown this year actually means so much to me—the use of the sun/star imagery in the makeup represents how much brighter my life has become.

This added brightness is due in part to me finding my voice. It is also due in part to me accepting—and even growing to love—who I am as a person and an artist.

Thus, it felt fitting to me to use a one of my fav. Beatles songs in this piece!
