it’s called hypnagogia. the amount of times i’ve nearly shifted with this method is UNREAL.

hypnagogia is a state between wakefulness and sleep.

have you ever been watching a show/movie etc. and you keep dozing off to sleep and keep waking up, yeah it’s that.

usually in this state people hear/see scary stuff but it ain’t real

you will almost feel symptoms instantly because you have been detached from your CR and this makes attaching to your DR more easier.

this method really works litch tried it in school and felt my surroundings change but i got scared my teacher would snitch and woke up…

I really love how they are focusing on Annabeth’s view of transactional love, because it also strengthens her relationship with Percy. They don’t love each other yet, they don’t even consider each other friends yet, but Percy is willing to protect her in ways her mother- a literal goddess- does.

Not only this, they become friends, and later develop romantic feelings with each other, because Percy legitimately cares about Annabeth, not because she had to earn it. Because Percy is one of the few people, except for Grover, and MAYBE some of the seven, who loves her no matter what.

It's these posts that raise my expectations so much. Y'all gonna get me killed with this :')

i need the writing room for the last olympian to bring back “hold fast. brave the storm.”

imagine the scene of percy sitting in poseidon’s throne to get his attention. he’s begging poseidon to leave the sea and go to the rest of the olympians to fight typhon. he’s saying everything he can to convince poseidon. he’s begging him to help his family then all of a sudden.

“hold fast, dad. brave the storm that was made to break us for we are unbreakable as long as we have each other.”

“…you really are your mother’s son.”

there would just be something so poetic about bringing that line around in the last olympian.

Percy Jackson but Hestia has a cabin. that is where the unclaimed go because she goddess of home and family. Demigods get claimed faster because when they show up Hestia glares at her siblings, nieces and nephews untill they claim them.
