Day 15 of Auctober!
I love that sharing little things with someone you care for has been given a name! Pebbling! The term comes from how penguins will give pebbles to their loved ones.
I really connect with the term since, when I was a kid, I'd show my step-dad that I cared for him by giving him cool rocks! He still has those rocks to this day!
Ok i did it, now i can throw him at the wall in real life 😊
Sorry about bad vid/photoquality my phone is old and i took pictures on my bed with dead space remake as a stand.
More info and pictures… ⬇️
I made the armature with jewelry wire (i dont recommend) and tinfoil
The actual sculpting part was done in polymer clay, i dont have any clay tools so thats kinda why its not the smoothest (😓)
Painting with acrylic paints, varnished with what was supposed to be a matte spray, ended up a bit glossy but i just wont think about that
Pretty proud of the boots, ive never sculpted shoes in detail, and ive also never sculpted a nose before (besides my pizza tower figures but those dont count)
Mother fucker took 26 hours i know because i watched 2 ten hour videos and im guessing for the extra 6
Pretty cool cant wait to not sculpt again for another 6 months straight
