super important! also stay hydrated! it's important, especially if you have a mental illness, to stay hydrated because sometimes we forget to do some simple things to take care of ourselves, and staying hydrated can be one of them. you are loved ๐๐
- try to enjoy the sun as much as you can!! even if itโs to open your window to let some daylight and fresh air in!
- try to get dressed every morning, even if itโs to change from your pajamas to a hoodie and leggings. believe me, it does make a change
- make a list of activities that usually keep your mind busy
- being close to your pets helps a lot
- try to meditate everyday, itโs super beneficial
- i know itโs hard (specially because our bodies are way less tired) but try to go to sleep at the same hour everyday and keep a concise sleeping schedule
- donโt force yourself to be extra productive just because you are at home, let your mind and your body rest
- try to keep contact with your loved ones and talk to them regulary (keeping a list of people you want to text/call everyday also helps)
- trying sensorial hobbies help a lot during this time, specially if you suffer from dissociation or if you feel out of touch with reality lately. embroidery, playing an instrument, painting, gardening... you name it!
- writing a list every single day of things that happened that day that you are grateful for helps a LOT
- if you are too tired to exercice, yoga helps
- try to be kind to yourself. you deserve as much love as anyone else
note: my private messages are always open to whoever needs to talk or if you simply need a distraction. you are so loved and strong. youโve got this โก

when I grow up, I'm gonna get a tattoo of a pink carnation. to remember my mom when's she's gone.
so this post is a little more on the serious side for me, and I would appreciate it if anyone could just take a moment to give me some advice. as many people are aware, the COVID-19 illness has spread in so, so many places around the world. personally, I live in the US, where it is rapidly increasing its number of cases. the situation for me right now is that I live in a family of 5 with only one supporting member, my grandma, who basically is our entire life force, especially now. the problem is, not only is she over 60 years old, but she also has a medical condition that she's been living with for I'd say a good portion of her life. she lost her job as a ticket saleswoman, which she had been with that particular company for over 35 years. overall, I'm just extremely worried about her wellbeing, because she is one of the many people who are susceptible to the virus, considering her age and condition. what I need right now is just some advice and maybe some consolation. this is hard on every single person in the world, even those not currently infected. so please, if any of you could just give me some words of encouragement or anything like that, I really appreciate it!
