An oldie but a goodie…
this is a poem
where after a few centuries of boredom, Danny gets a sudden influx of college student worshippers but it's not too worrying since all the offerings he's gotten so far are just different snacks ranging from crackers to a full bowl of mac n cheese. Without any other options, he goes to the only halfa he knows who had finally settle down from dimension travelling to studying in a dimension where she knows the people wouldn't need an extra helping hands of a hero.
King Danny "get me out off paperwork" Phantom: Heya Dani, do you know if something happened that resulted in mass worshipping?
Danielle "I built a shrine of my brother in the empty storage closet of my dorm building to see if it would work" Phantom: gee golly I have no clue on what could have happened to result in that
Words tend to spread really fast especially when it comes to tired students who has nothing else to lose. Besides, after leaving a a potato chip on the creepy looking shrine in the storage room and feeling a strange wave of calm/relaxed/focus and passing that paper you've been struggling with for the whole year, who wouldn't keep doing it and leave even more snacks.
Next thing you know there'll be a creepy little shrine piled with snacks on top of it in empty storage rooms of different college and universities. Eventually the students find out what to call their entity of calm after one claimed to left their notebook in the storage only to find a little scribble that says Phantom in that slightly glowing and possibly toxic green ink.

In hindsight, Tim should have probably stayed at home and rest after staying up all night finishing a paper due the day after tomorrow but Bruce had asked if he wanted to tag along the JL meeting with the JLD because of... whatever it was Bruce mentioned so who in their right mind would say no to that. So now here he was half listening to the banter meeting about some eldritch entity that could be a threat to humanity and what offering should they provide to complete the summoning. Of course after hearing a familiar name of his preferred deity of submitting papers on time, the delirious boy never even registered what he said.
Tim "barely conscious on his 11th cup of Pedro Pascal's Starbucks order" Drake: Phantom?? give 'em poptart... green flavour...
[this was just a fun little thought but I might add on to it from time to time]
plasticity omake idea: tori throws herself a birthday party, but instead of going about it in even a slightly normal way, she tells a series of lies and manipulations to get everyone to show up at the same place. some people had fetch quests they didn't know about to get food and alcohol. it's not even her birthday
I want Batman to visit Amity Park. Whether it’s because of Vlad Masters or the supernatural energy there, as long as it’s not the Fenton’s I want him to visit
I want Bruce to go out during the night for his investigation only to see Danny sitting near the trees, lazy as he threw a ball for a glowing green dog over and over.
I want Bruce to stop, to hold, cease and just pause. Not because of the glowing dog that may or may not be a part of his investigation but because of how Danny looks to him.
He looks like the child he brought to the manor who experienced depression at an early age from the murder of his parents. He looks like his kind-hearted child who would look longing at certain times, longing when he still believed in the magic of his name. He looks like his daughter who was talented and strong but would hold the weight of the world if a life was taken under her protection. He looks like his tired son who would always take on the burden of working hard to gain the approval that he already has. He looks like his son who would stare out in space thinking of the parents that have yet to heal. He looks like his son who seems lost with the world around him at times because of how different he was raised from the rest.
He looks like a child that needs saving.
Despite how his children would tease him, how Alfred would probably drawl “another one sir?”, or how the dog was connected to his investigation in some way (that green glow was not natural) he did not leave.
Instead, he walked towards the boy, footsteps loud as to announce his presence.
That was the start of their nightly meetings.
(I want a slow story of Batman meeting Danny. I don’t want Danny to be in trouble or be in danger in beginning or for Batman to suspect him in any way. I want a natural meeting of the two that slowly progress from there, from Danny seeking comfort from this man cloaked in shadows and Bruce slowly thinking of Danny as his.
I want Bruce to be stressed out by the fact about the supernatural things that happen in Amity, how Master’s has a secret lab basement below his house, and the ghost that haunts Amity on a daily. I want him to feel the annoyance and massive headache it is to deal with the supernatural of all things, but the moment he sees Danny sitting in the shadows of the trees waiting for him all of his worries just, disappear.
I want Danny to feel the weight of being the new Ghost King and the responsibilities that it holds. He would love the perk of fewer attacks from Amity but he still has to deal with the responsibilities of being a King, the adding factor of many of the ghosts he meets all seem to fear him like Pariah Dark, and how his parents were becoming more unbearable by the day. I need him to feel the weight of his identity catching up to him every day, but the moment the moon is up and he sees a man with a bat suit he can’t help but relax a little, his core letting out a happy hum.
I want the two to become family on their own terms before everything goes to shit.
I want a bond before the danger.
I don’t want a hero protecting a victim or a young hero looking for help. I want a single father and a struggling boy to find each other and meet halfway.)

I am apparently working on becoming a local cryptid at the store. Talents include:
Monitoring the changing of the seasons via mozzarella
Predicting the weather by picking up a piece of cheese and mysteriously saying “oh, the storm is gonna be bigger than we thought...” just before thunder
Mind reading, e.g. “Can you help me find a cheese? It’s called, uh... [starts fishing out shopping list]” “Gruyere?” “...yes O_o”
DP x DC Prompt
Here’s a thought. So, Danny ends up in the DC verse somehow. And somehow it comes out that Danny is the only hero back home. So the League is telling him how there are dozens of them, trying to be reassuring, like You’re not alone here.
And maybe others would feel that way. See all these heroes and be relieved. But Danny?
Danny is a hero because he has to be. Because no one else can defeat some of the enemies he regularly dealt with. He had to protect the people from ghosts and the ghosts from hunters. And he paid for it everyday. Lost time and sleep and grades. Relationships. His dreams.
His parents and the government want to destroy him. He had to listen to them call him a monster everyday. The town he bled for often blamed him. And he did it alone. Oh sure, his friends backed him up. But they were back up.
There might be bright spots but the hero life was largely a life of pain. But Danny did it anyway because what choice did he have? The world needed him to step up, so step up he did. And he gave it his all in the hope that no one else would have to.
So when Danny sees all of those heroes, it breaks his heart.
What happened to your world, he asks them, horrified. That it needs so many of you.
