Eight days of drawing.
Sometimes I like an experiments with different art stuff. I've bought cheapest 'watercolor' sketchbook at local shop. It has bad (for me) paper, but as result it's not that bad at all.
Here're only fast sketches (~10min to each pieces) I'd drawn while watched something or did some of my usual duties. It was hard at first, but I have very interesting experience at the end. Some of sketches I can redraw later in full arts.

(I hate bureaucracy of any kind, but I also have to thank her. Bureaucracy is about documents. And, of course, our knowledge of Age of Sail is drawn from books, works of art, films and documents.)
What can go wrong when you buy a cheap watercolor set? It turned out to be a gouache :)
Gouache colors aren't my favorite art colors, but I like how others artists work with it. So this practice was an interesting for me even at smal pieces.

Three days of drawing with gouache and I'd finally understood it's not my favorite material for making art. (But I still like how other artists works with gouache colors.) Anyway it was good experience.
Awww, just found my old ink drawing of Qui-Gon Jinn. I can see all of my mistakes now, but stil love it.
