The Israeli Occupation Forces Bombed Nasser Hospital In The Gaza Strip A Short While Ago. This Hospital

The Israeli occupation forces bombed Nasser Hospital in the Gaza Strip a short while ago. This hospital was the last functioning hospital in the Strip after all hospitals were bombed. Now, there are no functioning hospitals in the Strip. The occupation is deliberately destroying the health and education system and all means of life in Gaza. Please don't ignore us. Do something, please!!!😭

Gaza is a "killing, detention, starvation, and genocide camp." This is the true description of where we live now. Please help me and my family so that I can escape the war zone and receive medical treatment. Please, we desperately need your help!!!! 😭

Please help us by donating so that my family and I can escape this horrific war and get treatment and start a new life, please!!!😭

I am Mohammed Ayyad, a resident of Gaza. I live in very difficult circumstances because of the war that the Gaza Strip is experiencing. Since the outbreak of the war on October 7, we have been displaced. Then the journey of suffering and separation began, as my children were separated and evacuated from our home without cover or clothes, and from here they became ill. What increased our fatigue was the continuous upbringing due to the different areas to which we were displaced. We were displaced 9 times, and this was very costly. The last time was on August 9 from Hamad City. In addition to that, we live in the winter season in a tent that does not exceed three meters, closed with nylon. It is similar to the atmosphere of strong winds that we have never experienced before. The weather is very cold. Overall, we are living difficult days that no human being can bear. We have no work because of the war and we do not have any kind of money. This is accompanied by a crazy and terrible increase in prices. Although the water is not suitable for drinking, this is the cause of many diseases. The last suffering is that we are outside Hamad without taking our belongings or tents. Now we are searching the ground in the streets and our children and the elderly are suffering. Therefore, we use direct donations, including what they can, or sharing the links completely so that people know our tragedy and pain. Remember that a small contribution can make a difference in the lives of many children who are dealing with their health condition. Leave their details and make them happy with your generous contribution.

After a certain point, the only conclusion a Gazan can make is that there is no humanity left in the world.

How can you believe in kindness when your entire world has turned to rubble twice over? When babies are shot down in front of their mothers by turrets? When you are denied the basics of life: food, water, shelter, and denied even the ability to find them yourself. Death becomes all you know. There is no space, no time, no energy left, with which to believe in kindness.

But those not in Gaza, we cannot prove them right. We are still here to stand by the Palestinian people, to fight with them, to stand against barbarity, and for the cause of human life. At least, I think so. Why is it so hard to reblog a post? I do not mean to say you are a bad person, or guilt trip, but I ask you that simple question so that you think about the effort it takes for you to save a life. A movement of your thumb. A microsecond of your day. Does that change anything for you? And even more: do you know how much life is held in €5? An amount that can fall out of your pocket is life-sustaining to the people of Gaza, where gas is €80/kilo, where water is just as expensive as oil.

Ghada Al-Anqar’s campaign sustains the lives of 14 people. The eldest generation, Nabil and Fatima; their children Ghada, Mohamed and his wife, Ahed and his wife, and Khaled, who is engaged; and the children, Fatima, Iman, Nabil, Lama, Amir, and little Noor, who just turned 2.

Noor cries throughout the night as the bombs once again rain over her head and homeland. War is all she knows. But we have an opportunity to show her, to show the Al-Anqars, to show Gaza herself, that the world is with them. Kindness, love, solidarity will prevail.

Every euro counts. Every reblog counts. More than you could possibly ever know. Thank you for your continued support. Let's keep going.

We should teach children about miscarriage during sex ed. Here’s why

We should teach children about miscarriage during sex ed. Here’s why | Jessica Zucker
the Guardian
A reported one in four pregnancies will end in miscarriage. Yet miscarriage, like abortion, is not included in most curricula

I feel this in my bones

Miscarriage and still births are still so taboo, which contributes to/exacerbates the feelings of isolation and despair which often follow. And it's not at all helped by the misinformation that's out there.

Some of the most unhelpful types of advice I frequently see involve versions of 'avoid stress', which, if you think about it for more than a minute is not only something of an empty platitude, but also makes no sense given the number of full-term babies born into extremely stressful conditions throughout human history

Properly understanding and talking about the potential vagaries of pregnancy might also go some way to challenging anti-abortion rhetoric, which tends to fetishise pregnancy (always at the expense of the pregnant person. And reality). It was quite apparent that some of them don't understand how pregnancy works when those US politicians started waffling about 're-implating foetuses' during in ectopic pregnancies... I dare say people like that have never heard of a molar pregnancy, for example.

Basically, we need to demystify pregnancy for everyone's sakes
