Was Kou ever drawn with flowers like the rest of the cast? I can’t remember if he was but idk what flower could be assigned to him either ….
The botanical set of drawings pairs him with clivia, as i pointed out in this post:
But there have been other instances of Kou being drawn with flowers too!
In the pilot, he appears with what I believe to be iris flowers....
... More iris flowers in Chapter 30...
He even sleeps in an iris-patterned futon!
Depending on the color, the flower can mean different things....but generally speaking, it represents hope and good tidings.
It honestly shocks me how virtually no one in the TBHK fandom is talking about how physically strong Yashiro is. She is a lot stronger than we give her credit for.
Haters will call it glaze, but I call it appreciation.
Now, let me make this clear for anyone who wants to be like, "well, ackshually--" yes, I know that Yashiro doesn't have the same amount of physical strength as Hanako---of course she doesn't. Hanako, despite having the build of a stick, is capable of taking down entities twice his size with just his willpower and a knife.
Hanako has obviously had more than enough time to adapt to the world around him and thus got adequate fighting skills as a result of that. No question that Yashiro obviously is not on the same physical wavelength. But y'all aren't going to gaslight me into saying that Yashiro can't throw hands.
Sure, we can argue that some of these moments were for comedic effect, but I don't think it downplays her feats here. She might not have Isekai level fighting skills, but she knows how to get rrready to rrrumble.
Heck, from the very start when her and Hanako's bond was first officialized by the mermaid scale, Hanako teases her (like the jackoff he is) and Yashiro responds by elbowing this nickel clean in the NECK. In fact, she elbows him so hard, it KNOCKS him over into the DESKS.
Yes, we could also argue in this moment that Yashiro didn't mean to actually hurt him since she didn't know she could touch him. But the fact she even still threw hands at him says quite a bit to me.
In fact, the added notion that she thought she COULDN'T harm him makes it more effective in displaying her strength in being able to fully topple this boy over. Because if that's what she was gonna do ironically, how strong would she be if she were to seriously throw hands? (Don't worry, that question is answered later in this post)
Yashiro since then continues to throw hands with Hanako whenever he gets on her nerves. She beats on Hanako nearly every other crescent moon, but Hanako deals with it because he's a masochist. There's no other explanation I can provide for why he lets her do this stuf to him.
There's no way he's NOT actively letting her hurt him with the amount of physical strength Hanako clearly has and has been shown to have (this dude won a fight against floating scissors in the Misaki Stairs, for crying out loud---)
Did we forget that time in the spinoff manga where she managed to pin him down to the floor with a MOP?
Or what about that time Yashiro heard him talk about her and so she defied physics and attacked from the side HEAD FREAKING FIRST?
"Oh but that's just her and Hanako's dynamic--"
Fear not, dear reader, because there's many more instances of Yashiro casually flexing her strength and agility.
There was a time within the Misaki Stairs arc where Yashiro literally runs and glides across a DOLL to jump up, then lands perfectly, and reaches Yako's yorishiro. Even Hanako was shocked.
Oh, that's not enough?
Well, let me introduce you to a (not-so) wonderful being known as Nakahara from Chapter 115, who pinned Yashiro to a wall and she (rightfully) responded by UPPERCUTTING HIM from the JAW, doing a FRONT FLIP across the guy's CHEST, landing on the floor perfectly, and speeding off away from him.
Comedic, exaggerated, or not, you can't deny that's some pretty impressive stuff.
I don't care what no one says, Yashiro can throw hands when it counts.

I was too lazy to draw his shoes soooooo ye
Ive always wondered and tried to imagine
What would happen if tsukasa experienced freedom for one moment?
To not be tethered to anyone, to be free to go wherever he wants, to do whatever he wants, to be whatever he wants to be..
Well that is somewhat what he is doing right now,, i doubt tsukasa enjoys the afterlife he is leading right now, he wouldn't be so adamnt and quick to try and dissappear if he was, but i wonder if he experienced total and utter freedom, would he go back? To being amane's yorishiro? To being by amane's side? I doubt it, not when he wants amane to be free and happy himself, not when tsukasa believes that amane hates him but tsukasa is so unpredictable i can never tell
But i mostly wonder if amane would allow tsukasa to have that kind of freedom, and if tsukasa was sent free, to no longer be amane's yorishiro but his own apparition, would amane let him go?
I like to interpret Tsukasa's freedom as a feeling, not exactly as a physical state.
Being trapped in a house, in a boundary, in a cage, is not what makes Tsukasa feel unfree - despite being explicitly linked to this - but Amane's love is what makes it a prison.
Tsukasa is trapped by the feeling of love and compassion he feels for Amane, from the moment he decides to sacrifice himself and be trapped in the house, even when he is trapped in the cage.
Tsukasa was fully convinced that his love was not enough. He was unhappy in the red house because he believed that Amane hated him, so the house became a prison, he could not see Amane again, even though he loved him very much, because Amane did not love him.
The walls were nothing compared to the feeling of being rejected.
The twins living in the same house, but who could not meet due to the invisible barriers. Tsukasa in the supernatural world while Amane was in the world of the living.
Tsukasa could leave the house whenever he wanted, he said so himself, but he also said that he "thought he shouldn't".
Trapped in the feeling of rejection.
When he became the yorishiro, the feeling of rejection increased. Amane raised the knife against him and killed him, not only that, but every reception he had when he met Amane again in the afterlife was surrounded by fear, sadness, melancholy.
Amane's obvious expression of discomfort when he saw Tsukasa again would obviously affect him. Amane didn't want to be around him, didn't want to see him.
So that's why he says "you despise me but you never let me go".
Tsukasa doesn't like feeling rejected, so he tends to leave. He's not the type to accept this kind of behavior, but he's forced to deal with it. Being a yorishiro, how could he run away from Amane?
And the cage, his moment of fragility, when Nene was calling for Amane while Tsukasa was convinced that he wouldn't come. The sadness wasn't just in the fact that he was locked up, he would know how to get out at some point - as he did - but in the fact that he was weak and that no one would save him, least of all Amane.
He convinced himself to some extent that Amane would never do it, and we see the sparkle in his eyes when Amane appeared to save him.
The brother he loved deeply and who trapped him in a cycle of love and rejection that he wanted to avoid.
So, Tsukasa will be free when Amane finally shows him his true feelings, without possession, without demands, loving just for the sake of loving.
Allowing Tsukasa to choose his path after Amane is completely honest.
Amane: "I love you, and I've made mistakes, I've made mistakes all along the way, but I ask for your forgiveness. Do you want to stay by my side…or leave?"
"Please…stay…Tsukasa"
This is Tsukasa's freedom. Amane's honesty.

Akane's too shippable
A girl, lost in her daydreams, stumbled upon a strange table of teacups. She reached for one, when suddenly a white rabbit, seemingly coming from the tall meadows, jumped on the table and pulls out a strange looking teapot from beneath the table.
“Apologies, the Hatter is quite late, would you like some tea?”
“… What? The Hatter? Are they supposed to be here?” The girl looks at the rabbit with confusion and skepticism. This place seems empty and there was a rabbit pouring her tea, what was she supposed to believe?
“Somewhere, somehow, something, someway, … maybe today? Who knows where or how, but time is running fast and I need to get going!” The particular rabbit grins as he quickly poured the toxically bright blue tea in her cup, “Enjoy!”
And the white rabbit speedily scampers off into the woods… Strange, the girl doesn’t know what to make of that fellow. Hopefully the Hatter won’t mind that she used one of their cups to drink this weird concoction the rabbit calls tea.
a while back I had a dream that people would put their otp (gay) underwater, like on a jpeg, and put text on it saying "the writers might have made you straight but the fish know" and it was so vivid I made my own, it was this one specifically in my dream:
Been reading the manga :>
Been in the fandom for years and this is how I sorta see things
