i don't know who needs to hear this, but guilt, self-hatred and shame are not sustainable sources of growth and healing. you can't hate yourself into feeling better, or being better. you can't repeatedly punish yourself for your flawed humanity and expect wholesome results.
In this blogpost, I’d like to share some of my wardrobe essentials that fit the aesthetic I want to go for, as well as a list of activities that are typical to it. Why? So I won’t get bored anymore, feel less depressed, get to romanticize my life a little more, and reinvent myself completely. So let’s get into it! Also, these clothing items are all from Shein. 1. clothing 2.…

Update: I wrote this at like 1 AM, so I was kind of half-asleep lol. A few people brought up that there were a bunch of duplicates in the list, sorry about that! I redid the whole list and ordered them alphabetically to avoid any repeating words. Hope you find the new list much more helpful!
Hobbies are a great way to practice self-care, and to have as a stress reliever. As uni students, we often find ourselves stressed out about our academic responsibilities, projects deadlines, and even financial concerns. We need some way to let out those stresses, and hobbies are one way to do it. You don't have to be good at them, you just have to enjoy doing them!

• Allah is a Loving rabb
• Allah is the most forgiving, the most merciful. As a Muslimah you have to believe this, you have to believe that if you sincerely ask Allah for forgiveness Allah will forgive you even if you have sinned your entire life, Allahs forgiveness and mercy are greater. So forgive yourself and learn from your mistake and keep trying to strengthen your connection with Allah because as long as you’re living it’s never too late to turn back to Allah. Allah would not have given himself these names if they weren’t true. So turn back to your rabb, ask for forgiveness, learn, move on, and try avoiding committing that sin again.
• There is no life without prayer, as soon as you start neglecting the salah your life will start to fall apart in the sense that you will start to feel sadness for no reason, a heavy weight will lay on your chest. And as soon as you start praying, you will feel the weight being lifted away from your heart because your heart will be at peace. Don’t ever think “I cannot pray because I have sinned to much”, that is the whisper of shaytan. It’s like saying “I can’t shower because I’m to dirty.” We pray to clean our hearts. It does not matter how much you have sinned ALLAH IS THE MOST MERCIFUL, ALLAH IS THE MOST FORGIVING.
Allah says: “Take one step towards me, I will take ten steps toward you. Walk towards me and I will run towards you.”
