I’m sorry but I will truly never get over Ekko who lost his mentor and all his friends at a young age, then spent the rest of his childhood building a beautiful and strong community that helped get shimmer addicts off the streets and give them a new life that thrived off of trust, respect, and loyalty while slowly watching the girl he loves lose herself to her psyche and become an unhinged suicidal terrorist who he is unable to save despite repeated attempts at it. And THEN gets booted into an alternate reality where he learns he could have had EVERYTHING, the beautiful and thriving community, the education, his family, and the girl he loves and he heartbreakingly leaves it all behind because he knows he doesn’t belong there and he has to go back to save his people which he DOES multiple times at great risk despite knowing what overextending his z-drive could do only to end up completely alone in the end. The most selfless character in the entire series. That’s my boy savior.
Arcane really told us that Viktor would choose Jayce over a perfect world and Jayce would choose Viktor over any and all senses of accomplishment.
The reason why I started shipping Sambucky is because Anthony said Sam used to buy lube for Bucky during the Captain America : Civil War press tour.
One of the reasons why I keep shipping Sambucky is because Bucky always put Sam first:
Spiderman is atracking you? Yes, I'll take the fall with you.
Steve came back from the past as an old man? You go see him first Sam.
You're going on a mission I think it dangerous ? I'll miss court-mandated therapy sessions to follow you on that mission.
Ayo tells me to lay low in Wakanda for a while? I'll ask her for one last favor because you need a Captain America suit.
Joaquin is hurt and you need comfort? I'll be there for you even though I have this stupid gala later and I'm in the middle of an election campaign.
For Bucky, it's always Sam first and the rest later.
Everyone (including me) going crazy over the (un?)doomed yaoi, canon Yuri and doomed straights is cool and all but
CAN WE AGREE THESE TWO WERE THE REAL MVPS ???
This is a short snippet from my upcoming yuri SamBucky fic. Butch Bucky x femme Sam. It’s based off of Chappell Roan’s song: red wine supernova.
I won’t tell you much more about it other than there’s a lot of yearning…
“Holy sh—“
Bucky was at a loss for words—they were caught in her throat. The sight left her breathless and her cheeks rosy.
There, in the middle of their bedroom was Sam in a spaghetti strap mini red dress. It fitted her in all the right ways—showing off her curves and some of her best features. She had light makeup on—mascara that made her eyes pop. Sam was the definition of breathtaking even when she wasn’t trying. Even with nothing but a t-shirt and casual jeans on, Bucky couldn’t keep her eyes off of her. It left her drowning and gasping for air.
Sam was her air.
Bucky leaned against the doorframe of their bedroom with the biggest smile across her face.
“Are you going to keep gawking or are we going out?” Sam asked. Hands on her hips, she approached Bucky.
“Maybe I want to stay home and devour all of you, sweetheart,” Bucky replied.
Looping her arms along Bucky’s neck she softly sighed, “we’re going out. End of story. You owe me after you ate the rest of the bagel bites without me.”
Bucky snorted and rested her hands against her waist, “here we go again.”
Pushing her hand against Bucky’s chest, Sam rolled her eyes playfully. “Come on, we’re going to be late. It took you forever to get a reservation at this place. Let’s not waste it. I’m starving.” She pressed her lips against Bucky’s cheek.
“Can’t you eat me for dinner?” Bucky groaned playfully.
“Maybe another time,” Sam winked. She turned and walked to her vanity to grab her purse.
Bucky couldn’t help but gaze at her figure and the way her hair was styled. She stared with no shame—only a look of endearment. Bucky fell in love with her personality—how she rocked her hips with sass and confidence. The world was hers to rule and protect.
Tonight had to be perfect.
God she’s stunning and all mine…
There is no prize to perfection… only an end to pursuit.
You know what I love so much about this scene?
Look at the people behind him.
You have civilians, who saw Captain America under the rubble and immediately rushed to help. They should be as far away from this zone as possible, but someone needed help. Someone who instills and inspires humanity in all of them needed help.
You have the head of security and Ross’s closest confidant right there with Sam too. You have the army and officers coming in, but no one makes a move.
Because Captain America is getting up.
They aren’t just in close proximity, they are standing behind him, waiting to see what Sam’s next move is. They could have easily drawn their guns at Ross, but they don’t. They wait for Sam’s instruction. They wait to see what he does.
And the civilians are STILL there. Even when Ross gets back up, they are still there, right behind the Captain showing so much bravery in the face of the destruction they just witnessed.
Because that’s the effect Sam has on people. That human strength to keep going, the trust that things will be ok. If Captain America still has fight in him after being knocked like that? I’d be standing right behind him too.
