Two (older) sketches I felt like sharing. 

The left one (Coronation) is from June ‘16 and is part of an AU I work on from time to time. The right one (Betrayal) is pretty much a redraw, but in a different context. I drew that one in March this year.

Though they look very similar, they have a slightly different subject: Coronation is about outward-directed anger, about something that has happened / is still happening and could not be prevented. Betrayal on the other hand is about self-hatred. About an inward-directed anger that comes from allowing a person to get close enough to hurt one.

I like to see them both lined up next to each other, because it emphasizes the differences. Also, I think they complete each other.

I’ve been breathing nothing else but hairspray for days. It’s not as bad as dying a wig in a room with too little ventilation though, that one can really make your head go funny. x’D

Wow, this wig really makes me go through a lot, and I fear that it might be worth it in the end. Which is terrible because that increases the risk of me doing it again. I’m unteachable when it comes to things like this, ahaha.

Aaah ... now, do you really think looking at me with such hateful eyes will bring your precious friend back?” “You killed him.” “Killed him? Dear boy, do you really think, this is what death looks like? No, he’s not dead.” “Then what?!” “Hmhm... Do you wish to see him again? Do you wish to save him? I can bring you to him.”
