awesome trans woman đđđ
religious đđ
Fucking wild to be teaching about Rosa Parks at the same time as a trans woman in Florida does an act of civil disobedience to use a women's restroom in the state capitol
addendum: I was just looking through Vivecâs dialogue again and they LITERALLY say
âIn the past, the Tribunal made seasonal campaigns to Red Mountain. We slew Dagoth Ur and his kin, though the Heart always revived them in time. Later, when we realized we couldn't destroy them, we created the Ghostfence to contain the threat. These solutions were effective until Dagoth Ur ambushed us and captured Sunder and Keening. Since that time, our fortunes have waned as his increasedâ
so uh, all my theorizing was kind of for nothing. He literally says that they killed Dagoth Ur multiple times. Hope that helps!
Hey!! Your reply to my (dagoth ur propaganda) post interested me, i haven't seen in TES lore that Dagoth Ur would have returned many times (i tried searching for that info at one point, it would've been useful in a story i was writing at the time) so i'm curious if i overlooked some detail?? đđ
so most of that was âdevout tribunal worshipper larpâ
but thereâs definitely evidence for OTHER members of House Dagoth returning after they were killed. If you manage to talk to Ascended Sleepers, you can ask them about âunderstand nothingâ and they say:
âYou think what you do has meaning? You slay me and I am dead? It is just dream and waking, over and over, one appearance after another, nothing realâŚâ
which Iâve always taken to mean that you can kill them, but they are revived by the heart. we can also tie this to Lord Vivecâs dialogue when you ask him about âto be a godâ. She replies:
ââŚIt is a bit like being at once awake and asleep. Awake, I am here with you, thinking and talking. Asleep, I am very, very busy. Perhaps for other gods, the completely immortal ones, it is only like that being asleep. Out of time. Me, I exist at once inside of time and outside of it.
continue
It's nice never being dead, too. When I die in the world of time, then I'm completely asleep. I'm very much aware that all I have to do is choose to wake. And I'm alive againâŚâ
So I take that to mean that those connected to the Heart of Lorkhan are functionally immortal, returning to life some time after their supposed death, just like the Ascended Sleeper said. The *dream* that the Sleeper mentions is death. *Waking* is being alive again. For what itâs worth, Vivec calls the followers of Dagoth Ur âheartwights,â meaning they definitely have some connection to the Heart, even if they arenât on the same level as the Three.
Thereâs also Dagoth Urâs famous line, âIâm a god! How can you kill a god?â, which comes right after you beat him in the outer chamber, then walk into the Heart Chamber and heâs right there again. Iâve always taken this as âwe kill him in the outer chamber and then he revives inside.â
So I definitely think Dagoth Ur *could* come back to life, if killed. Did he? Probably. We know that the Three made yearly pilgrimages to the Heart to replenish their power. We also know that Vivec defeated Dagoth Ur at least once in open battle. I think itâs likely that the Three would have fought and beaten him at least a few times.

itâs so insane to see all the red note posts? like you realize this app is owned by fascists right. you realize that youâre on an authoritarian governmentâs state owned propaganda machine.

tampon (from Wrecsam) (no indication of what this means or what a tampon from anywhere else would be)
âinsignificant thing or action like, âfart in a jacuzziâ ???? What did they mean by this???
what the fuck goes on in caernarfon
condoms (from Merthyr)
also what is love juice??? they translate that like itâs a normal English turn of phrase we all know. is it a British thing?
does anyone else write really long class descriptions in Morrowind? because Iâm so addicted to the custom class description box itâs not even funny. Iâll be like âhmm today I will make a new characterâ and then spend 45 minutes to an hour writing entire paragraphs of lore for my hyperspecific custom class (that could feasibly still apply to a group/type of people because otherwise itâs not a class is it?)
sworn by oath, Indoril endures, despise everyone hating us apparentlyâŚ
thank you to anonymous for the suggestion! please note hlaalu, mora, dagoth, sotha, and dwemer were not included due to no longer holding the position.

doesnât Azura spend like. three thousand years trying to murder three queer people.
Happy Trans Day of Visibility!
I have always had the headcanon that Azura is a patron god of trans people. And Vivayth, being a trans woman, definitely thinks of Azura as a protector!
i was watching the yes minster episode âThe Skeleton in the Closetâ today and had a random thought.
at about 10 minutes in, Sir Humphrey and Jim are walking through, like, a foyer? thereâs big double doors behind them. and as they walk past, a woman comes through the doors and walks offstage the way they entered. they donât interact with or even acknowledge her, and almost no viewer will even notice her presence. believe me when I say that her presence adds NOTHING to the episode.
but for some reason I started fixating on her (probably because she was kind of pretty and Iâm very gay). who was she? why was she there? how did she get on the show? her cameo was so inconsequential that I canât imagine she even got paid. did she just happen to walk through the shot and they left it in? or was she actually hired to be on screen for four seconds?
this post isnât leading to any spectacular conclusion, itâs just a random thought. maybe Iâll write a fic about her character.
seething and malding rn after reading a Jacobin article about Robespierre where they said he is âoften invoked by liberals as a Stalin-like tyrantâ
bitch he WAS a liberal. The entire revolution was the epitome of liberalism. I fucking hate how authoritarian communists like Jacobin have stolen its legacy (they even stole the name!)
they even bring up the âeconomic radicalismâ of the Revolution - which was capitalism! it was radical because it overthrew the dominant feudal-mercantilist order. But irony is completely lost on communists because theyâre braindead idiots.
strongly disagree. Oblivion is nothing and will always be nothing. Itâs vapid, shallow, and unable to write a complex or interesting story to save its life.
I have given it more than enough honest tries. It was awful the day it came out and always will be awful.
Another one of my lukewarm TES takes is that Oblivion is actually a good game with touching storylines and all it takes for it to be engaging is to give it an honest try. Like yeah, it is undoubtedly, and often unintentionally, a very 'memey' game and yeah the bugs are frustrating, and the bad VA outtakes are funny, and the character models are questionable, but beyond that there's a lot of sincerity and depth which often goes unnoticed.
Also, Caesar was a progressive! Obviously not in the sense of modern social progressivism, but in the Roman political system he was considered a progressives. The conspirators were all *Optimates*, old corrupt conservatives who wanted to maintain the status quo that made them rich. Caesar purged corruption, reformed the grain dole so that it actually benefited the poor, and actively went against the byzantine (an ironic word to use, I know) political structures of Rome and gave much more power to the populace during his terms as Consul.
okay istg if one of you does #america on my posts again im biting.
JULIUS CAESAR is NOT like trump! Julius caesar got stabbed by rich guys for supporting the people, regular people fucking loved julius. The guys that killed caesar were run out of Rome! because everyone was so mad about it! and trump just fucking sucks.
also im not american.
Yeah so some of these couples are jokes and only "ships" in the fandom way. But you're wrong if you believe there wasn't any kind of special relationship between Robespierre and Saint-Just, Carnot and Prieur, Barère and... a lot of men. Yes, Carnot and Barère were married. Carnot loved his wife. Barère had several female lovers. Prieur had a long-term relationship with an older woman (who was married to someone else). But um... Did you forget bisexuality exists? Or homoromanticism? Or are you just de facto implying those aren't "real"? Have you internalized that they aren't real maybe? Because trust me some men love other men as much as women, as much as their wife, maybe more than their wife. David loved Drouais more than his wife - and no it wasn't "fatherly love". It was a teacher's/mentor's love with all of the ambiguity this involves when you remember they were artists and what the subjects they preferred to paint were. This culture offered a convenient pretext where you could blur the lines. And no, you'll likely never know the truth. You'll never know if they fucked other men, or how, or what positions they preferred, or if David actually fathered his own children. And honestly it's kinda creepy to take it beyond mere speculation and actually really want to know that far as if it was a fact you were owed to? You don't need to know those details. You can just know when there's obviously a loving relationship going on. That's just as true for living breathing beings you know btw. You'll never really know what kind of loving relationship they have unless they choose to tell you... or someone forcibly outs them, which is gross.
Maybe we should be happy they had the chance to live in a brief period where all loving relationships between men weren't automatically seen as "scandalous" and "depraved", that men were allowed to love each other without it being always perceived as "suspicious" and "illicit".
Barère's thoughts about Saint-Just aren't creepy because they're about another man - they're creepy because he clearly sounds jealous of Robespierre and, you know, the whole Thermidor thing and all the nasty things he said about both. But it's actually quite special that we get to read his obviously non-straight non-normative thoughts so openly. It's not "subtext" or our "fevered deranged imagination". It's just there. Your denial isn't my problem to deal with.
not a fan of this guy personally. he looked better in Morrowind. something about the legs.

I really wish the internet would stop promoting oppression.
Religion is the enemy. Religion should always be the enemy. This is not cool or fun. This is a deeply indoctrinated and abused woman.
everyone talks about transmasc Sotha Sil but what about transfem Almalexia??
Late congratulations to Sotha Sil for his successful top surgery
does the â69â signify that youâre the 69th person to have fucked Nerevar? because Iâm pretty sure the number is a lot higher.
i get on bluesky for the first time in a white and i am immediately taking Ls
do you ever think about the guard on the docks of Seyda Neen? do you ever think about how tired he must be of his job by now?
Iâm sure it was terrifying at first, watching the stranger get off the boat, come up him, and morph their race and body and gender as he watched. but then it happened again, and again, the same ship arriving over and over, the same stranger getting off, him telling them the same lie - âIâm sure youâll fit right in.â
by now, heâs just tired. heâs been doing the same job for twenty years. watching the boats get fewer and fewer, the time spent waiting between strangers get longer and longer. now, he waits with bated breath for the day that the final boat comes in, the final stranger begins their journey, and he can go home.
have I ever mentioned how much I fucking hate meditation/mindfulness/etc
oh hey I saw you on Reddit lol

posting about the assassination of Caesar with the tags âanarchismâ and âfuck the governmentâ really is peak irony. like no. the ides of March was not a populist revolution. it was a bunch of old conservatives getting together to protect their deeply entrenched power by murdering a progressive. itâs like if the âcia killed Kennedyâ conspiracy theory was true.
i choose to believe this is a symbol
