Observe, one of the most snuggly kitties in the world.
Look at my beautiful son, I love him so much.
Some heartbreak mood for everyone, it's very sketchy and unrefined but I think it adds to the raw emotions I felt at the time, criticism is still always welcome, thank you.
I'm going to start posting my art for once. I've been too shy and insecure in the past to do so but being stuck I'm this quarantine and some support from friends has convinced me to start. Please be nice as I know I'm a beginner and need a lot of work but any criticism that points me in the right direction is welcomed.
So I don't normally comment but I love my kitties so would love to add. I agree that growing up with one specific animal helps you learn their language easier. I grew up with just cats and now can befriend them so easily, but I am really skittish around dogs due to their affection and actions being so upfront and energetic. Though i've never outright hated them, it's just a little different dealing with that energy.
I know for certain though all of our cats loved us, and cats are like people with the fact that even different cats show their love differently. I had a cat named Finnegin who was basically a dog. He loved anyone who came over and would jump into their laps for pets, he was even a bobedtailed cat so his little stub wagged. Then there was our cat Shadow who was very shy with people he first met, his in the basement most of the time, but if me or my sister were crying he'd head butt us while purring.
Me: (makes a joking comment about dog people being shocked by the idea that cats can be loving)
Some guy two months later: (makes long upset reply about how cats “‘‘‘‘‘‘‘scientifically’’’’’’’ can’t love” apparently and that my cat “does not and never will love me”)
ok dog person
