“The Sephiroth are also imagined as ten shells or casings around the innermost core of En Soph, the formless and ineffable centre of all being.
The Cabbalists called meditation on this Nothing-in-Everything, extrapolating from a verse in the Song of Solomon (6, 11), "Going down into the garden of nuts".
Shakespeare refers to this when he has Hamlet say, "O God! I could be bounded in a nut-shell, and count myself a king of infinite space".
And Joyce in Finnegans Wake:
"Mark Time's Finist Joke.
Putting Allspace in a Notshall".

If Dracula Daily is reading the travel blog of our good friend Jonathan, Voyage of the Nautilus is reading the diary of a 40 year old man writing about his crush (and the cool field trips his crush takes him on) in pink glitter gel pen while kicking his feet
i absolutely love that tumblr’s new obsession with goncharov came just in time for the end of dracula daily. now maybe in a year or two we’ll start seeing emails from our good friend koshalev mikailovich who was the journalist narrator of the original novel and tragically played such a minimal role in the film.
I showed her heights she never saw—
“Woulds’t climb?” I said,
She said, “Not so” —
“With me?” I said, “With me?”
I showed her secrets
Morning’s nest,
The rope that Nights were put across—
And now, “Would’st have me for a Guest?”
And she could not find her yes—
And then, I brake my life, and lo!
A light for her, did solemn glow,
The larger, as her face withdrew—
And could she, further, no?
