---------------------------------------------------------
The Doctor grew bored and angry one day after the events of The Year That Never Was. You had met him after that event and, even though you did suspect a stranger you met randomly who then revealed himself to be a time and space travelling alien to act abnormally, you were not accustomed to The Doctorâs constant mood swings. Even though he was an alien, you felt red flags go off and you knew that the two of you needed a change. You eventually demanded him to tell you why he was acting so strangely, or you would leave. With this threat, he revealed what he had experienced during The Year That Never Was and how he not only lost the only other remaining member of his people but also forced his previous travelling companion to leave because of his attitude. He apologised for his strange behaviour, but he explained that he worried that you would be overwhelmed by his life and leave him just like everyone else.
You gladly explained to him that you did not care about his past, you cared about his safety and mental health. You were unaware of anything that occurred to him, you just saw him suffering and you wished to help. He opened up more and more but still remained upset. The Doctor had taken you on some more adventures, but even after he revealed his secrets, he continued to be troubled by his past. You had a plan to cheer him up, however.
âA prank war?â You nodded cheerfully to The Doctorâs enquiry.
âYep. It will cheer you up, sourpuss!â
âHow is you randomly doing things to me, and my ship is supposed to cheer me up?â
âBecause you will also get to randomly do things to me. That's the essence of a prank war until one of us taps out.â Eventually, The Doctor agreed after some convincing from the TARDIS saying that it would be healthy for him to have some proper fun.
The next couple of weeks had been riddled with an intense battle of pranks. You, frankly, did not think that The Doctor would be this great at pranks when you first suggested this, but, of course, The Doctor was a lot older than you and he could easily have extensive pranking knowledge that you would not have.Â
One day, The Doctor put glitter in your shampoo, so you retaliated and put hair dye in his. It was a nice delight seeing a very serious Doctor in his brown and blue pinstriped suit paired with hot pink hair. The Doctor told his TARDIS to hide your room from you in the future.Â
You then glued The Doctorâs fingers to the TARDIS console. The Doctor hid all of your clothes from you. You attacked The Doctor with silly string. The Doctor put slime in your shoes. You put worms in his spaghetti, and so on.Â
Now The Doctor remained silent for the past couple of days causing you to sneak around the TARDIS. In a burst of bravery, you ventured out to the console room to see what The Doctor was up to.Â
âAhh, Y/N! Come here, please.â The Doctor said as soon as you entered the console room.
âWhy?â You drew put your word, hesitant.
âJust come here.â He waved you over calmer than usual compared to how he acted on an adventure day.
âNo! Youâre going to do something, I know it!â
âNo, I just want to talk to you.â
âWhat about?â You crossed your arms indignantly.
âCome here.â The Doctor whined. You sighed but relented to his demands and slowly walked over to where he was leaning against the TARDIS console. His arms were behind his back, and he was tapping his foot repeatedly. You stopped in front of The Doctor with a hop.
âI think that we should stop this prank battle, Iâm a lot happier thanks to you.â The Doctor stated, surprising you.
âAre you calling a truce, Doctor? That means that I win the war.â You smirked at the idea, for a bit of time, you didnât think that you would win because of The Doctorâs natural ability for pranking.
âWell, I think you are going to be the one to call a truce.â You glared suspiciously at The Doctorâs accusation and wondered why he had a growing smirk on his face.
âWhat are you ---â You were cut off by The Doctor pulling his water pistol out from behind him and began spraying you with the water. You tried to cover yourself with your arms, but The Doctor still managed to cover you in water from head to toe. It was apparently an alien water pistol. You eventually ended up falling into the TARDIS chair, calling for The Doctor to stop.
âDo you call âtruceâ?â You could hear the laughter in his voice.
âYes, Doctor, you win! You win!â You screamed.
He pulled back and placed the water pistol back into his breast pocket, smirking down at you. The Doctor did that thing that you always found attractive, his little quirk of placing his tongue on the back of his top row of teeth when he smiled. You tried to remain disgruntled by your now ruined outfit, but you couldnât stay mad at The Doctor when he made that face.
âAre you happy now, Doctor?â You tried to dab some of the water out of your shirt with a towel The TARDIS supplied for you. His smile widened before he clicked his tongue and winked at you.
âOf course, Iâm happy! Canât you tell?!â He stuck his hands into his pockets before rocking back and forth on the balls of his off-white, Converse-clad feet.
âWhy was this a necessary way to win the prank battle? You grabbed another towel and wrapped it around your shoulders.
âWell, I was bored with the other pranks, and I wanted to end this in a fun way, and I thought that that was the point of this prank war, to prank and have fun. Also, youâre wearing a white shirt, I just couldnât resist.â You looked down at your now completely soaked shirt, now see-through.
âIâm going to kill you.â You deadpanned and tried to glare at The Doctor again, but he was still grinning like a maniac, and you loved seeing him this happy.
âNo you're not!â He exaggeratedly spoke, dramatically getting in your face.
âNow! Go get changed so we can go on an adventure!â You continued to glare as The Doctor circled the TARDIS console, pulling on his ear lobe while thinking of a place to take you. Eventually, you managed to drag your feet toward your room, mumbling along the way.Â
âIâll get you back, Doctor, one day. I swear.â

Summary: You and the Master have always had a complex relationship. If you could even call it that⊠Forbidden fruit always tastes the sweetest after allâŠ
A/N: Reader is of age. In Timelord sense⊠But I listened to âDoes Your Mother Knowâ by ABBA and just HAD to write this I- ajakjsiaja
Warnings: None, a little smooching
You're so hot, teasing me
So, you're blue, but I can't take a chance on a chick like you
That's something I couldn't do
âI shouldâve known it was you.â
You said, raising a brow, turning on your heel to see the familiar face of The Master, grinning wildly at you as he stalked towards you. His eyes scanning you as you couldnât help but feel like he was a bird of prey and you were his next victim.
âWhat gave it away?â The man asked, eyes narrowing slightly as he stood a few feet before you, hand on his hip.
âThe shoddy wiring-â You quipped as he simply smirked. You held the device in your hand he had planted, standing in the middle of an abandoned ballroom, where a mere few minutes ago you were telling the humans to run for their lives. âThe boldness of it, the theatricalityâŠâ You continued, as you threw the now deactivated device down to the floor with a bang.
âYou noticed.â He almost purred as you fought the urge to roll your eyes at him. âI had to get your attention somehow.â
âMost people simply use a phoneâŠâ You smirked as he let out a breathy laugh.
âExcept Iâm not most people, am I dear?â He took another step towards you. âBesides⊠Couldnât have mummy dearest intercepting.â He pursed his lips as you bit your own. âWhere is she by the way? Off with her little human pets?â
âYou dragged me all the way to 1890 to ask about my mother?â You raised a brow, folding your arms as he clicked his tongue.
âYou know why I dragged you here.â You hadnât noticed how close he was to you, as he peered down at you, eyes dark and broody.
There's that look in your eyes
I can read in your face that your feelings are driving you wild
Ah, but girl, you're only a child
You simply rolled your eyes, as you rounded him, lightly bumping into his arm as you did so, causing him to shake his head slightly before reaching a hand out, turning with you as he gripped your arm to stop you from leaving.
âLeaving so soon?â He asked, tone low as you stared up at him. âHow disappointingâŠâ
âIâve got things to do.â You simply told him, but didnât fight his grip. You could feel your hearts beating in your chest as you stared at him.
âMore important than little old me?â He smirked, a little flirtatious in tone. âIâm hurt.â He teased, furrowing his brows.
âBelieve it or not, Master-â You began, as he felt a rush go through him at the use of his name. âMy world doesnât revolve around youâŠâ You breathed out as he laughed, shaking his head.
âYour heart beats suggest otherwise.â He said lowly, as you realised heâd moved his hand from your arm and to your wrist, as you peered down, quickly removing your arm from his grip. âFine.â He sighed, taking a step back, allowing you to go. You gave him once last look before going to take your leave. After a few seconds, you stopped in your tracks as ballroom style music began to flood your ears. You let out a breath as you turned, seeing the Master stood in the middle of the floor, a record player turning in the corner. âOr⊠You could have a little fun.â He voiced, holding out a hand to you as you licked your lips. âGo on⊠Live a little.â
Well, I can dance with you, honey, if you think it's funny
Does your mother know that you're out?
And I can chat with you, baby, flirt a little maybe
Does your mother know that you're out?
Sighing to yourself, you gave in, slowly approaching the man as he watched intently, a glint of mischief in his eyes.
âOne dance.â You told him sternly as he nodded, watching as you took his hand. His grip was soft and gentle, quite the opposite of him. But it always was when it came to you. His other hand came round to rest on your waist, as your own free hand planted itself on his shoulder. Eventually, you both began to move slightly to the music, as you fought the urge to stare at him, focusing your gaze elsewhere, looking round the room.
âWhat would your mother say?â The Master finally spoke, his words low. âYou⊠Dancing with the enemy.â He purred out as you narrowed your eyes, finally catching his gaze.
âWhat she doesnât know canât hurt her.â You said softly, as he raised a brow in surprise at your words, a smirk appearing on his lips.
âOoo-â He let out. âKeeping secrets now are we? How Doctor of youâŠâ You rolled your eyes slightly at his words. âKeeping me your sordid little secretâŠâ He almost whispered as you swallowed the lump in your throat.
âThereâs nothing to tell.â You simply replied as he tightened his grip ever so slightly on your waist, but you felt it. And he knew it.
âReally?â He breathed out.
âYes.â You felt your voice waver slightly as he hummed, leaning his head back a little.
Take it easy (take it easy)
Better slow down, girl
That's no way to go
Does your mother know?
âIs that you trying to convince me or yourself?â The Master landed on, as you both stared at each other, the music fading out as you focused on him. You didnât say a word. âEven after everything Iâve done⊠You still canât bring yourself to hate me, dear.â It was true. You hated that he had this hold over you. But you couldnât stop it. It felt like there was this pull, between you and him, no matter what he did or said. It was electric. âAnd I think we both know whyâŠâ You could feel his breath on your face as you peered up through your lashes at him.
âYouâre just doing this⊠Because of The Doctor.â You told him quietly, as he let out a soft scoff.
âStill so suspicious.â He whispered. âVery wise of you.â You could feel yourself subconsciously getting closer to him, feeling his chest against your own as you moved your hand on his shoulder, closer to his neck. âWhat if I told you, youâre just a pawn in my game?â He asked as you bit your lip. âA way to get to The Doctor⊠To bring her downâŠâ His grip tightened once again on your waist as he held you even closer, which you didnât think was possible. âWould you let me?â
âNo.â You breathed out, eyes blinking.
âDo you think you have a choice?â There was no emotion behind his voice, it was a simple question.
I can see what you want
But you seem pretty young to be searching for that kind of fun
So maybe I'm not the one
Before you could say anything, his lips had crashed into your own. You absentmindedly moved your hand to the nape of his neck as you held him closer. It felt right, it felt exciting, it felt⊠Real. After what felt like only a few seconds, he pulled away, his hand coming to rest on your cheek as he let his forehead lean against your own.
âNow thereâs definitely something to keep secretâŠâ
Well, I can dance with you, honey, if you think it's funny
Does your mother know that you're out?
And I can chat with you, baby, flirt a little maybe
Does your mother know that you're out?
I had the weirdest Doctor Who related dream a couple of nights ago.
Dhawan!Master was a TikTok star who loved doing TikTok dances.
Simm!Master was ranting(whining) to Russell T Davies that he portrayed him poorly because The Master would never be sexist or homophobic or transphobic because he comes from a species that can change their gender. Russell T Davies snuck away as soon as Simm!Master was distracted.
Yaz and Dhawan!Master said that we should crash the window of the aircraft we were in because that aircraft was made by Scrooge McDuck and we could sell the glass to the people of Duckburg, but then we ate said glass.
When we made it to the cemetery because we apparently had to stop the villains at a cemetery that was never mentioned before. We found Russell T Davies working with an evil Tennant!Doctor or Tennant!Master trying to resurrect the body of Rassilon. They were all huddled in a creepy mausoleum. And the evil Tennant!Doctor or Tennant!Master was wearing a very cool and campy black floor-length trench coat with white pinstripes. The collar of the coat was very tall and the coat had massive shoulder pads. And he was wearing a tight purple buttoned up shirt.
When Simm!Master saw Russell T Davies again in the mausoleum, he just continued his rant about his poor portrayal in the show.
And then I woke up.
I am now worried for my mental health.
At least Dhawan!Master in my dream constantly stood by my side, held my hand, caressed my body to comfort me, and gave me many forehead kisses.
Hi hellooooo can you please do a fuc where the doctor (any nu docs) where reader first enters the Tardis and does the whole "it's bigger on the inside" but then makes a your mom joke, catching the doctor off guard?

"This thing about being a rebel, being an outsider, also has its price. I always took a step away from everyone else. (...) Thatâs just how I was. I didnât join our school trip in the ninth grade and I didnât go to the graduation either, because I didnât want to join in. I didn't belong there. Even now in adulthood when I have a lot of things that I should be happy about and Iâm really as far from all that as possible, I still have⊠I donât know if itâs a nightmare, but I have a recurring dream where Iâm still that age and Iâm at home, alone, feeling as if I shouldnât be there, that I should be where the others are but I'm not."
- Tobias Forge, Sweden Rock Mag 2020
"It's so important to spend time together, and have fun together, smiling together, feeling you're belonging somewhere, don't you think? It is a wonderful feeling. I've always felt that if I just got to the end of the rainbow, whatever is there, I will find belonging... And I'm assuming that this is it. The belonging that we're sharing."
- Papa Emeritus IV's speech in Indianapolis 8/22/2023
My requests are officially closed.Â
Thank you to everyone who requested fics from me! I really appreciate it.
Iâm going to go a bit out of order when it comes to finishing them, but only for the Valentineâs Day fics. Which I will work to finish in time for the holiday. Then I will get back to finishing everything else in order.Â
I still have some stuff going on in my personal life and also school. So, I will try to get everything out in a professional amount of time, but some grace would be nice.
Thank you, again!Â
