I don't know how to explain to people that when I call someone 'cute' or 'hot' (and by 'someone' I usually mean a fictional character) it doesn't mean I want to do the do with them. Like, yeah, I only found out recently what the term hot actually means, and it ain't just aesthetic attraction like I thought it was. But I've been using the term to mean as such for my entire life and I'm not going to stop now (I also don't know what word to use in place of it that means specifically aesthetic attraction lmao). But that also means people look at me funny when I do use the word and they know I'm ace.
