Let them try
T'Challa protecting few members of avengers whom he fought before
And the scene expands to the jungle with Black Panther statue which gave me CHILLS
Honestly, people whining over how Danny Rand should be casted as Asian, has zero respect for the comic book source material and does not realize they're the ones being racist. So claiming how 'the original White character should be casted as Asian' is justice compared to 'the original Asian character should be casted as White? Tumblr's usual double standards
Logan: (Goes back to the past and changes the entire timeline & future of extinction of humans & mutants cuz humans fucked up everything)
Year 2024 Humans: (Fucks up, AGAIN)
Logan: YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME I'M FEELING SO OLD NOW
When James Gunn wrote those tweets he was about 42 years old. All those people who are saying it is a harsh consequence for something that has been done 10 years ago, think it this way. HE WAS 42 YEARS OLD. He wrote multiple jokes about pedophilia, racism, 9.11 jokes at that age. There are so many that I gave up reading it. The fact that he didn't even bother to delete them until it became an issue.... Well I'm not going to presume that Gunn left it there cuz he was proud of it, but I can definitely say that he wasn't ashamed of it. He is not criminally charged, or sued, but only to lose his current project in the career. I say it was a light consequence that he paid.
Did you really think that Disney will carry a pedophile along their ride? Or anyone would?
Vision bought a property to grow old with Wanda, while he can't age
Vision read books about grief to understand what Wanda was going through
Vision cooked Paprikash for Wanda while he doesn't eat food
Vision sacrificed his life to save the world but most importantly, to save his world, Wanda maximoff
He deserved so much better
Because Vision seems like he has the mind of his own, and has some control over his thoughts....? Sure, it maybe Wanda's trauma seeing Vision's corpse but what if it's Vision's actual body moving around..? Like a marionette? Something's fishy.... like, the entire show is fishy...
Where the hell are
- Karen??
- Micro??
- A puppy???
- Kastle??
- Is Deborah Ann Woll still in the show??
NO SPOILER REVIEW with my own opinions
- I felt like the movie is quite different than what Marvel has advertised with the trailer. 50% of the scenes in the trailer are not present in the movie
- Carol Danvers is goofy, stubborn, hot headed, and sassy character unlike other female heroes in the past films who are always cool- headed, calm, too wise to be involved with team's drama, etc
- Brie Larson has great chemistry with EVERYONE and is such a talented actress when it comes to delivering emotions in dramatic scenes. BUT I felt that her physical stunts aren't... quite the best...? Like, there are some action scenes that weren't very impressive due to how the actress moved. I also felt the same thing with Ezra Miller's Flash in JL movie when they did slow motion for his actions and I was just like ....?
- I was glad to see Nick Fury's more human qualities and as a sidekick, he was great! I'll be always happy to see Sam L. Jackson's Nick Fury in any marvel movie
- LOVED Jude Law's character. Honestly, I loved the chemistry& the relationship between Carol and his character
- Not really sure if Ronan was a necessary plot device in this film
- COULSON!!!! I mean, he had little role, but we missed you, agent
- Goose the cat is the best scene stealer like everyone has expected
- The friendship between Carol and Maria was tear jerking. They shared strong emotional scenes
- During the third act of the movie, you know in a hero movie where the main protagonist discovers their powers and overcome their limt? Honestly IT WAS SO CRINGEY. I thought I was watching some sort of documentary campaign
- Nice plot twist
- The 1st end credit scene leads directly to the Avengers: Endgame. 2nd is more of a comical one
- I think if you enjoyed Guardians of the galaxy 1,2, you'll enjoy CM. They're very different but has a similar vibe somewhere
- Captain Marvel breaks Hollywood's cliche at the very end of the third act. However like Wonder Woman, the entire plot line was quite predictable
It was 8/10 for me. Excited to see Brie Larson's Captain Marvel in the endgame and her sequel
