Okay, so while doing some research I had a sudden memory that I want to share.
Have I shifted yet? Not purposely. But my knowledge is fueled by the Tizm and might help someone.
Hear me out: Chocolate, Coffee and cheese are known to have psychoactive effects.
Cheese is debated, but I remember that Celina (Celinaspookyboo) sleepwalks more often than not when she's had either cheese or chocolate. So I'm gonna say cheese is very obviously psychoactive, plus it lights up the same receptors that the white powdery substances do. And those are obviously psychoactive.
Hear me out: Drink a Mocha (Or Hot Cocoa if you can't have THAT much caffeine), eat some cheese, lay down, and try to shift. The combination could very well be strong enough to induce the right mental state to shift.
I am by no means an expert, but damn if it isn't an idea. If anyone tries this, I wanna hear if it helped. And if someone already knew this, SHUSHUSHUSHUSH, this probably isn't for you then.
Despite everything, I will enter the void today! When I relax and become sleepy, I will confirm and go to my pure state. No foolish thoughts can stop me. Even though I think about it, I fuck it. This is my life, the void is mine, the void is inside me. It's easier to reach it than breathing. No more procrastinating and crying about it not happening. I will do it! OKAY SOOOO.
I have three weird techniques:
Plunge your hand in cold water before trying, this can maybe help you prolong the feeling not to sleep beforehand.
Open your eyes VERY LIGHTLY once or twice, and yeah you absolutely can, it won't ruin anything.
Eat an apple beforehand, it says to help against awareness, or coffee or anything that is able to fight against sleepiness.

Iโve only been in the void state for a few seconds and it scared me cause I felt nothing around me. I know itโs just a deep meditative state, but i have bad intrusive thoughts that make me conquer up scary imagery/scenarios that Iโm scared will negatively manifest whilst Iโm in the void state.
Do you have any tips on overcoming anxiety/fear surrounding the void state?
Okay so, first.
NOTHING can attack or sum up when going in the void, your mind already knows it's a peaceful state and you won't actually have ANY negative thoughts.
But I think I get you, before entering it can feel overwhelming, honestly the only tip is to ground yourself and tell yourself you're okay and that's your body and nothing more.
Imagine being surrounded by the void and acknowledge it as something COMFORTING instead of scary, whenever you get those thoughts? Push them away no matter how hard it is, again, it's just the fear of the unknown.

many people like to do their void routine RIGHT after waking up without any distractions, that actually is a very good method and it raises your chances by a 80 percentage of being able to actually enter the void.
(everyone can, this just helps you to quickly skip the steps since you're already in the hypnopompic state)
(hypnopompic state is not the same as hypnagogic state, the hypnagogic state is before you sleep, hypnopompic state is after you wake up, and both have the same effects IF YOU DON'T MOVE.)
this state when you wake up is actually a gold mine as much as Hypnagogic state is, but the tricky part? Not to move when you wake up โ๐ป
How to remember to stay awake when you wake up? Actually remind yourself and practice.
It takes one or two sleep sessions to physically remember, before falling asleep, tell yourself "I am not going to move when I wake up" or just "I'll be still when I wake up" and be in a position that is not easy to move in, like for ex, on your back.
This was actually a viral method many entered from someone who deactivated from here years ago, actually best if it's a nap too.

Yourself.
You're the method ml.
Entering it means just being it, and for each is different.
Some use SATs some use lucid dreaming some use manifesting and some just sleep and wake up there.
Believe me it's not in the method fr ๐ญ, but my personal fav in entering the void is just laying back and regulating my breathing, keeping calm and just randomly affirming anything in mind about the void like "I'm the void" "I'm in the void" and so on until I enter in 5 mins max.
