I came to your blog to learn about tarot cards, but tbqh I stayed because of your profile pic. you've got a neat thing going on there with the face and the eyes and all that, so uh good job 😬👍
Awwww thank you 😊 I really appreciate the nice words! If you ever have any questions about tarot, don't hesitate to ask. I'm planning on doing more posts about what each card means. Have a great day and thank you for the follow 💚
The steps are:
1. Ask (for what you want)
2. Believe (you will receive what you asked for and that there is a force [Deity, Universe, etc.] that wants to give it to you)
3. Receive*
*And this is where most magick practitioners go wrong:
How many times have you heard people say: you can’t just do a spell and then wait for whatever you asked for to fall in your lap, you have to work for it!
Then literally…what was the point of doing the spell or saying the prayer?
Oh it was to make your mind focused on what you want and/or to put the odds in your favor for receiving it
This idea (above) completely misses the importance of the yin energy (feminine energy) in magickal practice; something Westerners struggle with (because our entire culture and value system is based off its opposite = yang energy)
Yin/Feminine Energy = water, receptive, rest, stillness
Yang/Masculine Energy = active, working, force, aggression
The YANG WAY OF MAGICK: work hard before and during ritual, if you didn’t sweat, it didn’t work; do multiple workings, work toward the goal after ritual/spell is done
The YIN WAY OF MAGICK: ask –> believe –> wait –> receive
Receive: graciously, with gratitude, without guilt
If you need proof beside my own personal word that it works
try it yourself
