Really, BSD? Pushkin? dafuq?

If it’s the final form of Alexander Pushkin I’ll never forgive it. You know, people in Russia can know nothing about Dostoevsky who is like really famous guy all over the world, but know many things about Pushkin. He was “the Sun of Russian poetry”. He was the creator of Russian literary language, founder of Russian literature. He wrote fairytales which we read as children. He wrote poems and novels which we read at school. All Russian poets and writers think about him as about a teacher. Yes, he was not ideal. He was hotheaded, emotional, “duel” was his second name (and thing that eventually killed him), but his name is the greatest in Russian literature. And manga-creator’s choosing of “A Feast in Time of Plague” shows that they know nothing about Pushkin, they just wanted something that sounds cool, nothing more.

P.S. Interesting fact: his great-grandfather was African guy named Gannibal (or Hannibal, as you like more). So character Pushkin could be used for interesting representation but who cares, yeah? We just need regular evil Russian bandits, because there are no good Russians in this world. Never were and never will be, so it’s not a big deal to take the greatest of Russian guys and make his face screaming “fat and evil”. I just hope they won’t take my favourite poet Alexander Blok and won’t do something similar to him.

Sorry, but I can’t help but drop our KDA-cosplay-performance off here. If you aren’t Russian it’ll be difficult to understand… but there are a lot of local memes XD Yes, I’m (Akali) cosplayer too. ____ Простите, но я не могу не закинуть сюда наше выступление с косплеем КДА. Если вы не русские, то понять будет сложно… но тут много локальных мемов хд Да, я еще и (Акали) косплеер. 

my friend works for a tech service and is one of those guys you call to help you with tech issues and he walks you through them and even can like take over your computer to help and ect. anyways i will never stop thinking about how he told me everyone in his company fears west virginia like when they get a call and see its a west virgnia area code they hate answering bc thats where they get the wildest calls from.

One time thousands of people were out of internet and they were all calling in to complain and he had to tell multiple people “im sorry theres some guy with a shot gun driving around and shooting out the internet boxes there is literally nothing we can do. the police are trying to catch him.” and like. people wouldnt take this as an answer theyd be like well can you fix it and hes like. theres. theres a guy with a shotgun. thats a little out of our area of expertise. 

ways your characters can show varying emotions

to show sadness (grief, sorrow):

- sharply sucking in a breath

- hiccuping from crying so hard

- uncontrollable sobbing

- slumped shoulders, head down

- weather can be used to show emotions — not just rain, but a shining sun and birds chirping contrasts well with a grieving character

- depending on the person, sadness can result in lashing out at others for no reason or shutting everyone out

to show anger (rage, frustration)

- red face, fists clenched

- narrow eyes

- sharp comebacks, gritting teeth

- the air around them is tense

- others may be silent, ignoring whoever they’re angry at

- inhales

- angry. tears.

- kicking, punching, slapping

to show shock (hurt, confusion)

- wide, confused eyes

- freezing in place

- collapsing to their knees

- silent and blank-faced

- ignoring everything else happening around them

to show happiness (joy, delight)

- bright eyes

- crinkles around their eyes from smiling so much

- laughter!

- optimism

- playful, laid back nature

- the weight being lifted off their shoulders

- relaxed sigh
